Yo these ticket prices skyrocketed lol. Already got mine but cheapest right now are like 1200
The large majority of people don't have tickets to sell yet. Prices should crash when lottery results are released Monday/Tuesday.

Louisville 2014 I would say. Texas 2015. And UGA/OSU are two of the biggest home games we've played in the past few years. Those are exactly the games where we would expect it to happen and it happened. Compare that to when we played at UGA or OSU. Very few ND fans.
I get what you're saying, but I think Georgia is really the one time it was a significant factor. In an ideal world that wouldn't happen, but I don't blame someone for selling a ticket at a 5-10x markup if someone is willing to pay. Maybe lottery participants should be punished for that, but that goes against my capitalist views

But if Seat Geek is selling them, they are legitimate. Seats haven't been assigned but rows are. Wish Notre Dame tried selling before going through Seat Geek.

This match up favors the Irish. Run, run and run. Two weeks to prepare for pass... This is Golden's game to shine.

Maybe they’re season ticket holders. It might look nearly sold out but all the unavailable seats just haven’t been distributed yet. There will be tons more tickets for sale on the secondary market after lottery results are released

That is not correct.

Season ticket holders and maybe some special mega-donors might have tickets to sell. The large majority of seats have not been assigned. Not rows, not sections, not nothing. People don't even know if their lottery applications were successful yet.

Fun fact: the last time we played IU was the first game on the NBC home contract. This will be first non-NBC home game since then. Are we sure we aren’t living in a simulation?
There is also the potential to be a 90 degree difference in temperature at kickoff from that to this game.

Will be in Ohio for work on the 20th.
Took a peek at ticket prices because you know and nope. I'll just watch at home.

IU's rival (PU) AT HOME and ND's win against PU ON THE ROAD with the 7 pts. given up w/ ND's 2nd & 3rd stringers against PU's 1st team. Nice comparison!
I think it was just a factual tweet. Not meant to make a point in any way. Except maybe that Purdue sucks

ND should be able to match up with James Madison’s best.
And isn’t Curt a perfect first name for this guy?

I fully understand and can agree that PU sucked BIG time this year. It's just that I live in sorta IU territory here in southern Indiana, and I hate listening to their delusional fans that just come 'out of the woodwork' every so often when something goes their way (i.e. weak schedule) during football season. Normal years, you don't even hear an IU fan speak about football, plus their stadium is usually only about 60% full at best. Yeah, really a big football school! Just saying!

Only thing that initially worries me about this matchup is that Ohio St shit on them because of their huge advantage in the passing game. We don't have anything close to the same skill set they have on the perimeter
Indiana hasn’t had to deal with an oline and running backs like ND will throw at them.

I've just booked my hotel in New Orleans with my UGA buddies. I have zero worry about Indiana. They played nobody all year, I doubt ND struggles at all. 38 - 13 Good guys

Indiana vs F+ top 40 teams:

(1) at OSU - Loss 38-15
(32) vs Michigan - Win 20-15
(40) vs Nebraska - Win 56-7

They truly haven’t done anything against a team with a pulse. If we are the team we think we are, this should be a win by several
scores.

The advanced metrics have them as a fringe top 10 team, but to me that seems heavily inflated bc of blowouts against shit teams.
