I'm certainly not condoning immediate ejection it's all dependent on what's said.

Current assumption is it would have been severe enough to claim you needed to fuck someone up then it might have been appropriate to get another party involved.

I seem to remember being at a sports bar with my brother, on our way up to South Bend for a night game with USC in 2015. We were dying when that one finished the way it did. That USC game was a hell of a time too, great day to be Irish.
