With all due respect, fuck jaden mickey for quiting on his team during their time of need. Likely knew he'd be in for major pt this week with Gray out, yet quit anyway. Hope he plays for a loser for the remainder of his career.

What a weird video. Those guys probably know more than me…but no way I’m dapping him up after a win like that.

Yeah it was rough when Clark headbutted his way into an unsportsmanlike conduct and we couldn't even take him out because we had no other cornerbacks, except for the one in the student section.

“F*** this guy who had to make a hard decision about his life, his future, and his earning potential, in more challenging circumstances than most of us faced at his age, who seems to still be cool with the people who know him best and are closest to the situation.”

I can’t judge a kid for making what he thinks was the right one for his career. If his former teammates are showing him love, then who cares what I think?

He’s getting his ND degree. I hope every kid who comes here at least does that for their future. I wish he was on the roster, but I wish him well.

I can appreciate the difference of opinion and "fuck 'em" is too harsh. No excuse, but I'm several Guiness' and a couple whiskys in.... at the end of the day I'm an ND fan.

Mick likely knew Gray wouldn't go this week. He would've started today, seemingly running from the very thing he is leaving for. He's also being compensated handsomely via nil and he'll stay enrolled to earn an exclusive degree.

On a personal level, I sympathize and separate the fact that the young fella has faced losing his mom along with the regular trials and tribulations of being young away from home... I faced some rough shit at that age, but didn't lose my mom and can't imagine...

That said, you're either with us or against us. Mick made his move.

For real. Do you think we could have been convinced 4-5 years ago that the secondary would be this strong and deep?
For the longest time it seems like the secondary was a problem. Thank you coach Mickens for developing and recruiting.

Robby Toma commented on this yesterday. What's ya'lls opinion? I think under normal circumstances you ignore a guy that quit on the team, but given Mickey's situation and his family could be swimming in bills, maybe he made a necessary change to make some money. There appear to be no hard feelings on either side here.

I think it speaks to how much the perception of what college football and football in general is all about among players post NIL, the ability to transfer at will and the rise of social media.

You are seeing these same dynamics take greater hold at the high school and youth levels as well.

Another thing that is driving this phenomenon in my opinion is there are lots of grown men out there looking to cash in on parents financial insecurities and insecurities about their kids being able to succeed not only in life but sports in general as well as the families financial situations and that sports can be a gateway to “success”. It’s all very gross and shitty, again just my opinion.

Being mad at Mickey is just looking for an outlet for anger about Morrison getting hurt imo
Or it’s a great life lesson about quitting in the middle of something when opportunity is right around the corner 😊

Edit: would like to add I’m not mad at him, but I think it was shortsighted. That’s obviously assuming it was about playing time since he’s already staying on campus through May to get his degree.

I mean, not really. Leonard Moore beat him out. Mickey would still be the third-string CB. Yeah he'd get more playing time, but probably still not what he was looking for
There’s no way he’d be “the third string CB“ We only have three CBs left on scholarship.
