I don't think so, but Lane did get to be the scapegoat for us finally ending the losing streak when he took over for Cheatey Petey. That might have left a little sour taste in his mouth. I'm sure losing in 2010 and 2012 didn't help his career when he ultimately got left on the tarmac either.

Also public service announcement zero water may actually be bad for you. If you use ro/di filtration to get to a ppm of absolute zero. The water corrodes most things that aren’t plastic. There is debate on whether that can be harmful to you, but having seen absolute zero water eat through wood, I do not drink anything less that ~5 ppm
