The snipers seemed to have the guy in their sights for quite awhile. There is speculation that there was an order to not fire first. Would seem to be totally insane to have those orders. Who knows.

The reality is that federal policy aka the fed has everything to do with education as it relates to social benefits and or capital investment which then directly and indirectly impact teachers, their students, the students families and the communities the students live in. And yes, those investments by the fed do impact local wages in that the local school district would then not have to account for federally subsidized capital outlays in their year over year budget and could in turn direct those resources to say teacher salaries.

If you were making 65k a year I don’t think you’d be “jacked” if you were living in most major metropolitan housing markets.

I do not disagree with the cultural emphasis argument. I will say that the best way to demonstrate that education is “culturally significant” in my opinion would be to invest in not only the educational institutions but also the social benefits needed to support children, families and entire communities in order to allow them to fully participate in and take advantage of this supposed priority.

If the federal DOE didn't exist tomorrow, the only tangible difference would be hundreds of millions in budget savings.

The federal DOE is unconstitutional, doesn't educate anyone, and our students' performance has only dropped since its inception.

Funny thing is the 22 year old first year teachers getting $65k per year aren't in major metro areas. They're getting that salary in more affluent suburbs, many of whom living with their parents for a few years. So yes...I'd be jacked. Don't paint the picture that every teacher gets $40k per year because it's not even close to accurate.

Yeah to me the part that freaks me out is that they let an incompetent, untrained lone wolf get within inches of killing the President. Imagine if that was a trained operative from China, Russia, etc. Thank God he missed President Trump but multiple people got shot who didn’t need to… and it raises the question of whether he was truly acting alone or had help from someone to gain access.

If reporting is correct, the Secret Service sniper saw him before he was able to take a shot at Trump. Given he’s a trained sniper, I wonder why he at a minimum didn’t try to hit his rifle?

It smells bad to say the least. To me, mostly the SS not having that roof under control and the crowd being aware of the dude well before anyone else?

Idk. Odd deal. We shall see. It reflects poorly on the SS at this time IMO.

Could be correct, could be wrong. Who knows. Flight didn't land in Milwaukee until around 5:45 CT. This site says it didn't rain in Bedminster, NJ today based upon the daily observations.

Some guy could be making it up for kicks. It wouldn't surprise me if it was true or people posting crap on the internet. The guy could be telling the truth, but other people could be posting old videos.

LMAO, at my link. When I googled Bedminster, NJ daily activity it somehow selected 5/4/2021.

Here is the correct obesrvations for today. Didn't rain till around 3:00 this afternoon. Anyhow, it's definitely possible he played and had time to fly to Milwaukee. Have no clue if he actually did.

I'm not sure if there has been anyone quite like him in American history. Maybe Teddy or Old Hickory. Good or bad. Love him or hate him. They throw EVERYTHING at him. Day after day, year after year. He was just shot by a would be assassin and basically said fuck you.

He doesn't stop. He doesn't get tired. He doesn't get weak. He doesn't take naps at 77. He doesn't get demoralized or frustrated. He doesn't quit. I don't know, maybe he's the damn terminator.
