I started episode one. I'll have to get back to it. The book was excellent and D&D are good at adapting while they have book material to go off of so I wouldn't be surprised if it's solid.

Aegon is the most interesting character right now. Feels like he's trying to come to grips with being king and knows he's seen as a joke. And now that his mother knows who his father King Viserys really wanted to succeed him, that could get interesting.

Season 3 of The Bear... I've always been a fan of the soundtrack but how they used Nine Inch Nails in the first episode was f'ing awesome.

They went towards more character development this season so I can understand people not liking it as much but I'm into it. I haven't finished yet, but Tina's episode (episode 6?) is the best by far.

I'm about halfway through the 7-part Netflix series Baby Reindeer. What a crazy, fascinating story. An aspiring British comedian, working as a bartender, meets an interesting, funny older woman who becomes obsessed with him and turns out to be a nutjob stalker who spent four years in prison for stalking her former boss. Funny, scary, and crazy story based on the creator and star's real life.

Wife and I are watching this now, about 4 episodes in. Very crazy story, we're enjoying it so far.

IDK, but those sequences are real pace killers for me. I get what they're doing, but GoT used to just have dialogue and action get to the source of what a character is dealing with.

Daemon should be a center character. His storyline is getting dull with some of the Harrenhal stuff. It's surely going somewhere.

It’s the weirwood bed. The same thing happened to Jaime in the books when he slept with his head on a weirwood stump.

Watching the Netflix series "Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial". Focuses on the Nuremburg Trials. Also chronicles Hitler's rise from a pauper painter to becoming the head of the Nazi party and then Germany. Very interesting and probably the biggest item of note was that he wanted to be a painter, applied to a school of the arts to study painting, but was rejected. If accepted, we probably don't have WWII or Hitler heading the Nazi party.

Finally finished Ozark, it was a damn good show, IMO. Not the happiest of endings but it was a fitting one. The Langmore curse, man....

Time to rewatch House of the Dragon Szn 1 and finally binge Szn 2.

Ozark is one of the few shows I’ve watched where I felt true anxiety for the main characters……just as things appeared to be turning the corner there was always a setback 🤣 Really enjoyed it!

Great show. Disappointed they didn't do a fifth season.

I think with a lot of shows that got caught up in the writers' strike, especially those that were in their later stages, they just decided to do the mega-final seasons (like 14 episodes in Ozark in szn 4 as opposed to 8 every other szn) instead of dragging the production out for another year or two. But I definitely feel you there, I finished it last night wishing there was more to follow.

You're definitely right about that. They did a great job of keeping the audience hooked with so many twists of fate. Wendy was almost unbearable in szn 4, what a great acting job.
