Talks to someone on ole miss staff everyday.
Has a prior relationship with DeBoer because his brother played for him at IU.
Colorado pitching him that he is very similar to Shedeur Sanders.

It’s gonna be interesting to see how Bear’s career plays out for Stanford. At least Notre Dame can look for a grad transfer QB when Carr/Minchey are gone and there’s a hole in the room.

I don't think it's harsh. It's a great problem to have, let the athletes complete and we walk away with who the coaches believe is the better athlete. Love that we have two elite athletes that both believe they will be the one that will win the job.

I just hope Duece at least sticks until after his Sophomore seasons before he decides

I’m completely indifferent. I assumed he would eventually decide to stay home, and that’s whatever if he does. He’s gotta do what’s best for him. This is the game you play when you pass on Bear to take a rushed commitment from Deuce, but ND felt it was worth the gamble.

I hope he doesn't bail, but the portal completely changes the math on QB. Notre Dame will find someone polished to step in when it would have been his time.
