Per the UCLA board, Rees is a finalist. Troy Taylor is another finalist. Idk if Stanford football can survive that

I’ve always been on the Tommy-to-the-NFL train. But if you’re choosing between tight ends coach for the Browns and head coach at UCLA it’s hard to argue for the Browns.Does he take it? I mean he wants the NFL right.?
This narrative continues to allude me.Failing upwards - the Tommy Rees story.

We must have very different definitions of what failing is.
With that said, I would not hire him to be a HC.
That would be a home run but doesn’t seem like he’s actively pursuing on field coaching positions right nowJim leonard still available?
Who's Wisconsin's safety coach?
Me too, honestly.Perry Eliano is out of a job and crossed paths with Freeman at Cincy. I’d be disappointed by that.
While this is definitely true, I think the point the "just give him a raise" crowd makes is that money shouldn't ever be the reason someone leaves ND. Which is, IMO, reasonable! That's fucking classic. So much for the "just give him a raise" crowd.
The jobs and mobility are going to take priority over money and any kind of sentimental feeling. These guys are not fans. It's their profession.
Perry Eliano would be another Bearcat Buddy System hire. I'm almost expecting now.
I don't think that's the point ND fans are trying to make. You don't throw money at assistant coaches to delay their inevitable departure. In certain situations, you have to pay up for guys, and I believe we've now seen that in the retaining of Tommy Rees (for one whole season) along with the hiring of Mike Denbrock and the likely extension of Al Golden. While this is definitely true, I think the point the "just give him a raise" crowd makes is that money shouldn't ever be the reason someone leaves ND. Recent articles suggest Bullough is who extended the offer to several current recruits. I thought the same as you and was surprised because he was a GA.The only thing a GA can’t do is recruit? Otherwise they are like any coach right?
