I can't see the tweet, but it's probably Century Schoolbook (available on Word) or Adobe's Caslon Pro. Both are loved by attorneys and always looks sexy with small caps enabled.
Looks like Century schoolbook to me.

Judge/court might have a requirement for it too?

Pfffft. Courts.

Why can't things go back to normal when the only millionaire in the football building is the head coach who goes 6-6 and gets your program to the coveted Cheez It Bowl birth it's boosters so desperately desire?
I agree with the overall sentiment but the eventual outcome is that non-revenue sports are going to get vaporized. The money isn't going to be subtracted from the coaches or athletic department admins.

Maybe that's a good thing and we should just dump athletic scholarships. I'm willing to be convinced.

He ain't wrong, kinda feeling him right about now.
So much of the year (for a fan right now) is portal news and NIL decommits
I have not watched much NFL in the last years, might need to start looking into the stability of just free agency

Of course guys are going to take college jobs with the money to be made. They are also going to bail quicker to the NFL when the opportunity is given. I’m all for players receiving compensation but if you think the current environment is good for college football as a whole, I will strongly disagree. It’s wild out there right now.

College football is supposed to be entertaining. I've been entertained this offseason as much as any

People act like nobody wants to coach college, now, as if college HC positions are just sitting there vacant. Gimme a break.

"Oh no, labor got some power. Won't someone please think of the management?"
Even if the “omg coach’s are leaving!” kicks it up a notch….who do they think the replacements are? lol. If it leads to people like Mike Mickens getting an HC job sooner, I think most would be happy for him.

Also forced parity where the coach of a program like BC is this signal of the end college football is so stupid. That’s why BC is BC, NIL didn’t make them an afterthought. If BC crumbles to dust who cares?

Especially funny that the favorite to be named HC apparently is ... former NFL HC Bill O'Brien.

The SEC and Big Ten are having to coordinate and structure this “advisory board” for a reason. Currently, it’s like the Wild West with no end in sight. College football has really done a 180 in the past few years, and its future is as murky as ever.

It’ll be interesting to see how it evolves and where it ends up. Regrettably, I have a feeling its changes ultimately won’t be for me.

Hard to imagine IU with a seat at the big boy football table and Miami, Florida State, and a Clemson do not

😂 No shit. That really is something to think about. The likes of Vandy, Indiana, Purdue, Rutgers, etc. are looking down their noses at a few major CFB programs (Clemson, FSU, Miami) and other respectable ones (NC State, TCU, UNC, VT, etc.) Pretty bizarre era we’re currently in.

Even basketball coaches are raising concerns.

Rick Pitino:
“It’s our first year. Every first year I’ve had, I’ve never had a great team. But I will tell you, I am worried about it,” Pitino said after the 77-64 setback. “It’s very tough to build. So many football coaches are getting out, so many basketball coaches are getting out. It’s tough to build a program.

“You have to really innovate, get creative and understand these rules right now — or lack of rules.”

“It’s a very difficult time in college basketball because it’s free agency and now I think what’s going to happen is [the NCAA is] going to say everybody can transfer,” Pitino said.

“If they don’t like it, they’re going to take them to court. I think the NCAA enforcement staff should be disbanded, not because I dislike them, but they’re of no value at all.”

“The enforcement staff needs to go away. We need to stop all the hypocrisy of NIL. Need to stop it because they can’t stop it. Whether I’m for or against it, it doesn’t matter.”

NY Post: Rick Pitino concerned for future of NCAA, St. John’s with ‘lack of rules’ in NIL era

Yeah, I'm not worried about coaching spots being filled. Too many people have the desire to do the job for a fraction of the money. You won't struggle to find people but there likely will be some new challenges to the job and some serious burn out. And the number of proven coaches will certainly decrease.

Can't get banned for buying hoes for recruits if there's no enforcement staff.

Looking down their noses? WTH does that mean?

It’s all cyclical. I remember when some wanted to kick Northwestern out of the B1G because they were the perennial doormat.

I meant from a conference affiliation standpoint.

I mean, the guy was 22-26 at BC, and facing down being fired next season. Makes sense to get ahead of the curve in that situation if you ask me.

Something to keep in mind in all of this, too.

While true, I have noticed (at least from the games I’ve recently attended) that less and less people are actually going to the games. If they do, it’s for a half or so and then fans are pouring out at halftime.

Nielsen's data gathering has changed recently. Those aren't apples to apples comparisons of data.

Since Nielsen officially integrated its OOH measurement with its national TV monitoring service in fall 2020, the networks have enjoyed a considerable spike in their live sports ratings. While the current OOH panel includes all the major media markets, from No. 1 New York City to No. 44 Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News, that 77,000-panelist configuration effectively overlooks 35% of the population. Under the expanded system, OOH deliveries in such sports-crazed markets as New Orleans, Buffalo and Green Bay will be included in Nielsen’s reporting.
