NBC can not trot Jac Collinsworth out there again next year. Always wish the best for a fellow ND man, but he’s just not good enough yet. The announcing could not be lower energy.
My TV is always on mute with either music playing or I'll listen to the radio broadcast while watching. Listening to Jason Garrett makes me want to punch a baby and kick a grandma

What do SEC schools get? Say Bama?

They will each get around $60-70M/year when their new ESPN deal kicks in next year (and adds on to the SEC Network $$), through 2034. Currently, they get about $55M/year.

ND *should close the gap a bit with this new deal, although a gap will still exist.

The B1G will earn way more, over the course of their current deal, ~$80-100M/year, through 2029-2030.

Which is simply amazing because my eyes want to bleed when I watch 90% of big ten games. I don’t even find Michigan or OSU enjoyable to watch stylistically until they play programs in other conferences

Iowa should pay us to watch them.

Not exactly news as this was alluded to in the press release, but this is going to be awesome. What a boost in the NIL era too.

Not to mention the positive as it relates to recruiting. Kids want their faces on the TV. This presents another avenue to make that happen.

At least I'll be paying for Peacock for actual content and not just subpar game broadcasts. If NBC can give us a pair of high quality announcers next, I'll be incredibly happy.

Only thing sweeter would be us finding a way to jump to Nike but sounds like that won't happen until the next contract.

Maybe a dumb question, but if ND hosts a playoff game, does ESPN broadcast it?
