Yes they did. Does Dante and his family even care at this point if he plays? I wouldn't be surprised if he transfers again next year so everyone's favorite uncle just keeps collecting bags.
But he probably comes to redshirt and preserve a year and then play 3! Which he could've did just about anywhere if he picked a school for the RIGHT reasons to begin with.

Agreed. But his family has shown a pattern of choosing things for the easy reason. Not the right reason.

It's probably the first time his family has come into a little bit of money. If it's the first time in 20 years they aren't living paycheck to paycheck...then it probably doesn't matter if he plays. Obviously, he's not getting sound advice...kind of like advice someone would give that lives paycheck to paycheck...

He will be at Miami or Ole Miss in 12 months

Why play and possibly hurt his stock when he can take it easy and get ready for the next payday. He’s certainly shown “enough” that he can ride this season and his recruiting profile into another $1M.

I'd be liable to make bad choices if someone gave me a million dollar check with my name on it, and I'm a bit older and wiser than Dante. The problem is that the people guiding him should be wiser than me and see that he's damaging his chance to get weekly million dollar checks at the next level by taking the single check now. I do hope it works out for him in the end.

on the flip side. the nfl has shown you can get drafted high with 1 good year of film. Dante putting another BAD year of film out there isnt likely in his best interest. Going and sitting while getting paid isnt the worst decision for him.

I don't know about "HoosierMex," but if you want the best Italian that Indiana can offer, checkout the Salvatori Italian Family restaurants around Fort Wayne. Best fuckin' pizza I've ever had in my life, I make it a point to stop there anytime I'm heading up for a game.

Salvatori’s is gold. This is POTY material. My favorite thing about those spots (and they have one in Warsaw now, FYI) is you can add their hot giardiniera to any dish. Gives everything on their menu a delicious extra punch.

I’ll be in Warsaw Monday. I’m trying it and if it sucks you guys owe me the extra gas money. Bad food recommendations deserve consequences. But then again hacienda is highly recommended on here too. Lol.

Hold up. You guys like any of the South Bend or the FW joints over Aurelio's or Gelsosomo's?
