Lots of folks with low standards. Easy to please, low bar setters. Just wondering if ND/MF are among them. Seems that way.

I have far more respect for ND football program than the average fan. With respect comes standards.
Of course all Clemson fans were happy with the win, but a lot of them I spoke with wanted a loss since this season is a failure. They wanted a loss to hopefully force Dabo into appropriate changes around transfer portal.

Imagine if nd fans said they wanted nd to lose to get freeman fired to better the program?!?!

There were definitely people who felt that way towards the end of the Davie, Willingham and Weis eras. It's a little soon for that for Freeman.

Agree, but I’ll never root for a loss. It doesn’t take a loss to to see what needs improved or changed

I’m sure some Clemson fans are still upset about the subpar season. They got the win but they didn’t improve or fix anything. That QB is still a huge question mark. They still struggle w/ turnovers. ND’s offense still outperformed theirs production-wise. I could see them losing to GT tomorrow. I definitely would bet on them to win out the rest of season plus bowl.

I'm in the minority but I'm OK with this. He would be 3rd best slot IMO in 2024, and for every great catch, there was a blunder either on ST or as a WR (cost us Louisville and therefore possibly season - although MF would have probably screwed it up eventually).

I don't love it, but can certainly live with this one.

Was super hyped when we landed "the jet"
Especially two years after getting Lenzy.
Feel like we never got the best out of either player. Good luck to him ☘️☘️☘️

It’s a shame but I don’t blame him. I’d leave too if I had the current offensive coordinator who could only get me the ball twice a game. I will always go back to the fiesta bowl against Oklahoma state - over a hundred yards receiving coming out of the backfield. He needed to be used in multiple ways. Could’ve been a better weapon

This sucks ass!

Good luck Tyree! You were a great rep for this university. You did everything this university asked of you.

He'd be the perfect HB/slot in an Urban Meyer type offense like how they used Curtis Samuel.

Losing guys like Tyree does not make this roster better. If I was Freeman I would be doing everything I can to make sure I have guys like Tyree on next years roster.
I get what you’re saying, and even agree to a certain point, but even without Tyree, we have 3 receivers whose best position is slot. Could it be a situation of odd man out? I think Faison is the future and Greathouse and Flores will get plenty of work, too.

I think he's a perfect fit for Louisville and since they're on the schedule, I really hope he doesn't go there.

He was one of the fastest kids in HS but it felt like we never really used him right. First year at WR and he was arguably the best in that position group this year.

Can’t blame him at all given the state of our offense. Go ball out, Tyree.

I have to agree.

Right now, he might be the 4th best actually. Thomas, if healthy, then Faison and Greathouse.

ND ironically has a logjam at slot receiver, while having terrible numbers overall at receiver.

I realize at this point and time there is a lot of excitement around the young guys. I share some of that as well. Will there be that same excitement when they have to play in College Station to open next season? We'll see. Rico fell apart when they tried to feature him at Louisville. Greathouse was a mess when they tried to feature him at Clemson.

We're a 9-3 team that's going to play in the who gives a fuck bowl game for the second consecutive season. Losing our most productive WR does not seem like a good idea.

Losing Nana & Tyree makes this roster weaker.

Tyree moved to receiver this year, a planned two year move, & was ND’s best deep threat during the season in the first year.

I wanted him back.
Great kid & dependable.

I’m not liking roster management by Freeman Day 1 of this cycle.

I don't disagree with you, but taking a step back, he was probably told that ND is taking 1 or 2 GTs at receiver which means they are at best going to take reps/targets from him and at worst possibly start over him. Combine that with the younger guys developing the way they are, that's not a business decision that a guy with his degree should take.
