Ah I gotcha, my B. I'm really just teasing haha. I use ground beef but it has to be quality stuff, not the garbage you get at Kroger or Meijer. I have used both real chilis and powder but personally prefer the powder, and prefer the dark spicy chili p, it provides a lot more flavor.I was asking more like, do you use chilis or just powder, is it ground meat or hunks like a bowl of red etc etc. I'm very confident in my chili recipe (that I must have posted about a dozen times in the food thread).
I prefer a lot of heat in my chili so I use hot kidney beans and some cayenne pepper. The recipe calls for 1 - 1 1/2 cups Water but I substitute Guinness.
I have not tried this! is this the way? Do you recommend?Let me ax you this before I read anything further about your famous chilli. Do you or do you not soak your ground beef and/or pork in worcester sauce prior to cooking it?
Thank you for catching a minor spelling mistake, everyone loves a stickler for grammar on a message board lol. It is quite good both in and with the chili.um, Guinness - I presume you meant the beer. That might be an interesting tenderizer for sure. You can also match it with a Guinness while eating the chili.
