Last big game of the reg season i'm guessing they will give it a go at least. Have some games after this that might be more feasible to sit

Morrison had a quad strain, and was kept out as a precautionary, so I'd say it's a safe bet he plays.

Hart, I'm less sure, but frankly, with the way Mickey and Gray are playing, I'm not sure that's the biggest deal.
Hart literally had a bone bruise and could have played the next snap if needed.

He had his helmet the entire time, was celebrating with teammates using the “injured” arm & the next day a staffer from ND told IB, which they relayed in their podcast, that is was a bruise to his elbow/lower arm, & they didn’t know why ND outlets were reporting it was his shoulder again.

Obviously, if it was his shoulder he wouldn’t have his helmet and wouldn’t be jumping around using that shoulder to celebrate.

Yep, both could have played, but given it was Pitt there was no need for either to play.

My hot take is that Shipley isn’t the player he used to be and there isn’t much drop off from him to his backup.

If Clemson’s LG and LT are out it’s a much bigger deal (IMO).
Hasn't been even close to the player that Etienne was for them

I never saw Shipley as an elite back, but he is their best one. Shipley is versatile, Mafah seems to be more of a power back.

He is but (not unlike Estime) he’s also an effective receiver. They might run him a little less off tackle but he’s a good all around player.

Klubnik is also banged up and was in a walking boot this week

If Klubnik is unable to go at quarterback against the Irish, then the Tigers will likely turn to former walk-on Hunter Helms to lead the offense. The redshirt junior has played in two games this season and is 9-for-10 for 83 yards. He has not thrown a touchdown or an interception and his longest completion is 18 yards.

Prior to this season, Helms played in five games. He has thrown for 135 yards and two touchdowns, while completing 14-of-25 passes.
