How poorly does he have to be playing to not get a look tonight? He can't be much worse than Tobias.

He’s also a freshman and I don’t think he got to campus until June unlike some of the other Freshman getting reps. MF said in his presser that he’s close to being ready. So that prob means we see him next week in some capacity

Do people think he’s not good? I never thought he was as good as Greathouse and Flores, but he has the tools to be a quality college WR. Seems to me that he just needs some time because he’s not as polished.
He has athleticism that greathouse and Flores don’t have… seeing him in person twice, I’m not very high on Flores, he doesn’t look like a wr build and he plays slow… he’s going to have to be a very physical receiver to be good

I think people need to keep in mind Greathouse wasn't injured until Thursday reportedly. James had been running scout all year. Getting into this game, with limited time to prepare, isn't smart. And spare me the coaching side too. Barring the injuries, there was no need for him and the clearly have been developing Greathouse and Rico.

This is spot on IMO. He'll be a good #3 and reliable at best down the road. Will be someone the QB trusts throwing to because He'll fight for the ball and not let it get picked.

Flores also had one of the most important catches of the night, literally on the final drive to put us where the 4/16 happened. Dude's not bad at all, I think he's growing into his role and I don't agree he looks slow. He's not the speediest person on the team, but he's also just a freshman growing into it.
