Morrison gets a pick 6. Estime and Love combine for 200+ yards and Hartman throws for 3+ TDs. ND 42 Duke 24. And a few of those Duke points come in garbage time.

This game, I think, is largely dependent upon Freeman and the staff being able to successfully motivate. We are a better football team than these guys (though they're good.) We also have better athletes in almost every sense of that word. The head coach and the staff need to bring their part into this stew. Fortunately they have Sam. The OLine coach needs to rise up and get the Big Ones growling. If our guys are psychologically right, we control a hard game and look good.

OMG I want to vomit. Now they are pumping Duke QB as possible 1st round pick.... no discussion of Hartmann.... And piece about Duke's QB's mom motivating him by telling him "You Suck."

I have to wonder if ND's staff didn't act with such buffoonery at the end of the OSU game whether Duke would be getting all this air time and Hartmann and ND very little. That loss will cost us for a while unless we start wiping the floor with our opponents.

I don't think ND is being taken seriously after last week's mess. Geez.

I don’t typically agree with you but Im with you on this, ND is being written off for some reason nationally

This is where I'm at. We are the superior team and it isn't close. If we're dialed in, this should be fine. If we're not, it'll be one of those nights.

Even Joel Klatt who criticized the Loss but I thought would keep ND "Above the line" National Title Contender dropped ND.

I think most people think that was such a profound coaching blunder. It really hasn't fully set in but I think most people have lost respect for Freeman. Klatt basically said this what happens when you hire a new HC to such a vaulted position at ND's HC. He is not wrong. Just so awful the mistake clearly costed us the most important game in decades.

Wasn’t Hartman adept at the back shoulder pass at WF? I heard some beat writers say Tobias isn’t good at that so that’s why we don’t see back shoulder to him. But what about Thomas (when healthy) or others?
