Overall defense did great.

On 3rd and 19 with 15 seconds left you do not need Bertrand on the field with Liufau. Two linebackers covering no one in the middle of the field. You know EXACTLY where they have to go with the ball.

Second, on last play of the game… you know they are going to run it straight ahead. You have to sell out there and instead we have no one on the left side of the field. You have a timeout. Take it!
we did not have a timeout left.

I have a hard time blaming Golden for holding tOSU to 10 pts for all but the last 10 seconds. He also called the game well enough for Brown to have 2 opportunities to intercept the ball. I'm just hugely disappointed but it's hard for me to pin blame on anyone. The team fought hard and came up short.

Golden and the staff have to be better than that in those moments. Inexcusable.

He will continue to make mistakes, and be conservative, and have poor tackling teams. He is not a P5 coordinator.

We need to accept we’re a 9-3 team until he’s no longer with the program.

I thought he actually had a great game plan. He limited big plays throughout. Just had two defensive breakdowns that led to the big plays for OSU that sealed it.

Although it’s crazy that ten men on the field happened two plays in a row. Has to notice that.

Not when your DC had 10 players on the field for the last two plays. That is unacceptable. You are wrong.

Al Golden revolutionizing new defense featuring 10 players. Will be interesting to see if it catches on

Seriously? We held one of the two or three best offenses in college football to 17 points.
Doesn't excuse 10 men on the field at the end, or the soft pass rush all night. But our D playcalling was more than well enough to win this game.

And did it with limited pressure on the Qb.

10 on the field for the LAST TWO FREAKING PLAYS! We played with 10. Took a timeout, and sent 10 back out there for the last play of the game.

That is a fireable offense.

Whoever's job it was to have 11 guys on the field needs to get lost. That's not excusable

Honestly, other than the 10 men thing, I'm more angry at Keon Keeley than anyone on the defensive staff tonight. We just needed one genuine pass rushing threat tonight lol. Kid could've been a legend.
Eh. He's a true freshman. Has he done much for Bama? But to your point yes one guy in our front four who could get home would've been a gamechanger. Baptiste was a warrior though.
