That's not even surprising. Who does that include? Ian Book? Maybe Kizer? Those are the only QBs who could've thrown 100+ times in the NFL
I think it's KizerThat's not even surprising. Who does that include? Ian Book? Maybe Kizer? Those are the only QBs who could've thrown 100+ times in the NFL
Book has 20 attempts, so he shouldn't count. It has to be Kizer. That's not even surprising. Who does that include? Ian Book? Maybe Kizer? Those are the only QBs who could've thrown 100+ times in the NFL
Yeah, but the graph isn't about completion percentage. It's a stat PFF tracks called "Accurate throw percentage" which likely tries to count the accuracy of all throws, not just the completions.![]()

PFF has a lot of useful stats but they also have a lot that are sus. I think this one likely goes in the sus category. Kizer wasn't that inaccurate overall.
Anyone remember Kizer's lone pass vs Texas in 2015? I remember thinking after that pass, please do not let Malik get injured. It was one of the worst throws i've ever seen on a simple pass.
Then Kizer balled out when Malik did get injured.
I don't, but I remember how much Kizer stunk up the Spring Game that year. He was close to quitting football after that, sitting somewhere around 3rd on the depth chart with Malik and Golson both ahead of him. It's a lesson to anyone that the Spring Game doesn't mean much of anything. For every Spring Game star like Junior Jabbie that doesn't pan out there's a Deshone Kizer that flips the script in the fall.Anyone remember Kizer's lone pass vs Texas in 2015? That 2016 season was such an incredible waste. They played 2 ranked teams all season and went 4-8.Kizer had to force it pretty hard in 2016. Tried to do too much at times. He’s one of those who probably would’ve benefitted from another season in college (and maybe wouldn’t have landed with the Browns). But none of that really has anything to do with Tommy Rees.
Yea that was a turd of a season. A lot of fans wanted Kelly sent packing. Certainly good reason to as that kind of record was a major letdown. But thankfully they didn't fire Kelly and he got ND back into contention. Now Freeman needs to get some 10+ win seasons so we are always in a Top 10 / Top 15 position. That 2016 season was such an incredible waste. They played 2 ranked teams all season and went 4-8.
I thought TVD was trash? Didn't he get benched
He got hurt against Duke.I thought TVD was trash? Didn't he get benched
I thought his film was thoroughly mediocre but what do I know?I thought TVD was trash? Didn't he get benched
Really surprised they didn't go harder after a Qb before the spring. Their situation is not good especially by their standards and their skill positions leave something to be desired as well.Tommy and Alabama’s bagmen are trying to poach Tyler Van Dyke from Miami.

its easier to get pure mercenaries like him to switchThe poaching part is not what’s surprising, it’s that it’s Tyler Van Dyke being poached.
