Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

Northwestern was already the bottom of the weak B1G West last year. I don't see that getting any better after they've already started losing recruits and then having a 1st time HC coming in like Tommy. NW will routinely get crushed by the bigger brothers and USC in the coming years. It's going to be really, really hard to succeed there for the foreseeable future, if not perpetually given academic requirements and the conference changes. A new practice facility isn't going to fix anything, and it sounds like boosters are wanting to hold off on the stadium after the recent news. Only a fool or a desperate man considers that job. There will be better jobs available after Alabama.

Guaranteed the fools and desperate men are lining up for the job.

theres literally only two conferences left in D1 college football that matter and the NW is in 1 of them. Its totally an attractive job.

It's also one of the two toughest conferences in CFB, and Northwestern is essentially a bottom feeder going forward or at best mediocre. It's an attractive job, but not for a young up and coming coach. It's a serious gamble with your coaching career, pure and simple.

Yeah, a lot of stupid people have taken jobs for Saban at Alabama and parlayed them into horrible jobs like HC at Georgia, Texas, and NFL positions.

No no no no no..... Bama and LSU lose a crap ton of games each, say 4. Then Bama Beats LSU 13-6 on a Def pick 6.

IE: Bama wins, but scores 0 offensive TD's.
