Hell yeah, the second Parker was named i would be looking for escape hatch. Parker may be great, but why would Hartman want to be coached by a unknown commodity. He has NFL dreams, it is a risk for him.

I, for one, feel sorry for Hartman. He came here expecting one coach, and they replaced that coach with the dollar store version. Now they're talking about hiring a GA to run the OL. This is his career, and I don't blame him if he looks out for himself.

(but the word on the street was that Parker "crushed" his interview. Given that he and Freeman have known each other for a decade and were carpool buddies at Purdue, who besides perhaps the QB room did he need to impress?)

The rumor is Hartman was told it would be Ludwig. Then the buyout thing happened (unless you believe Swarbrick’s spin cycle) and now he is pissed and considering entering the draft.
