The past few pages of posts...absolute joke by some of these IE clowns, as Dale eluded to. It's always the same few guys.

"We only interviewed ONE or TWO GUYS?!" - guys: he's been conducting interviews all week. How many jobs have you applied for where they start the interview process in person? he's been rumored to have screened over 24 candidates, some of which may have had prior obligations this week and can't interview right away. It's only been a week long search.

"Klein sucks" to "omg, Klein turned down NOTRE DAME?!" We have no facts outside of him interviewing in person. Maybe they mutually agreed that it wasn't a good fit? Maybe he was expecting an unrealistic salary that Freeman wasn't prepared to match and it was just a money grab by Klein to boost his stock back home?

We literally have tidbits of information yet you all jump to so many emotional conclusions. It's been ONE WEEK. Calm the eff down. And another reminder that you DO NOT know more about football than Marcus Freeman and no one gaf about your "gut feelings."

I'm talking specifically about the "five or so posters" Dale eluded to who consistently bog down threads with their stupid ass drivel. It's near impossible to catch up on these threads without filtering through countless BS posts.

Sorry, rant over, go Irish, trust in Freeman.

BINGO!!!! When I started reading these comments as humor vs actual information, my life improved. Not much happening in college football right now, so these writers need to put something out. I know the hate for Driscoll is real, but even he has said to be careful listening to every reporter say "This is the top guy or the top 5 guys." It has been week. I know everything in today's society is about instant gratification (so that people can bitch about the choice), but this needs to play out. There will be plenty of time for everyone to explain how Coach Freeman screwed this up, and should have done this or that, when real news actually comes out.

I would've been excited as hell for Klein, but thems is the breaks I guess. We'll see who Coach Freeman pivots too from here.

Not only would it have been an intriguing hire but also the number of Waterboy references that wrote themselves to get us through the offseason. On to the next, I guess.

I mean Klein would have been good but if you have Hartman you almost want to bring in a seasoned OC not some guy with 1 year experience calling plays.
