DL they pursued a Wake Forest DE, likely headed to OU instead. They are pursuing an Utah State DE, no real info what’s happening there. They are pursuing Anthony Lucas, mixed reports if they have a real chance.
I think that’s about it but we also found out a safety Thomas Harper is visiting by him tweeting it so it seems transfer info is a bit of a toss up.
Thanks gents!Only thing noticeable defensively is an Okie st safety.
Who said students. We should nominate a board member. He can hide in the bushes next to Driskell

I didn’t figure it was dead on accurate. I’m sure big bucks get thrown around like a bidding war.as an FYI thats not what it actually costs to get these guys. It's just some On3 internal algorithm.
I got a bad feeling about Styles, just going to say it. Something feels offSafe to assume we lose at least one current receiver on the roster?
That would be my guess as well. Seems like picking up two WR is acting as a back up plan.I got a bad feeling about Styles, just going to say it. Something feels off
I took a look at a SEC message board and they feel that Oregon will be a player for his $ervice$.South Carolina’s Jordan Burch has also entered the portal. Don’t know if he’s a legit option academically but was highly recruited.
Building a sand castle, lmao.
Half finished he’s too low energy to complete it

Not sure if this is what you mean but I think we have to be very very careful about processing guys out, even if they “aren’t helping get where we need to go.”Biggest takeaway for me is that Freeman and ND are at least being active in the portal and pursuing kids. If you have scholarships to use or kids on the roster you know arent helping you get where you need to go, there is nothing to lose with pushing hard in every direction for upgrades.
I think he may mean bringing guys in to foster competition (Hartman vs Buchner) or bringing in a guy like Joseph to fill obvious voids. I don't think I have come across any (serious) poster that doesn't believe in the guaranteed 4 year scholarship. Not sure if this is what you mean but I think we have to be very very careful about processing guys out, even if they “aren’t helping get where we need to go.”
Not just because it’s a skeezy thing to do, which it is, but also because so much of Notre Dame’s recruiting pitch, and what differentiates us from other powers, is about the degree and the 4 for 40. It helps us draw a lot of good players.
And that becomes a lot harder pitch to make credibly when you’re pushing kids out after three semesters because they aren’t good enough to improve the team. It’s fine to recruit over them (including transfers). No one is owed playing time. And if they leave on their own, that’s fine. But you only have so many scholarships, and pushing guys to transfer before they graduate, to make room for newcomers, is playing with fire for us.
Correct, let them see the writing on the wall and transfer on their own, but elevate the talent level in every position group room.I think he may mean bringing guys in to foster competition (Hartman vs Buchner) or bringing in a guy like Joseph to fill obvious voids. Loy expects ND to land Harper
Yes. Please. Dude sounds like a game-wrecker.
