Santa Baby is a good pick. The original by Eartha Kit is annoying, but it's gets exponentially worse every time some new pop star covers it. Madonna's version moves me to violence.

Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is also a good pick due to its ubiquity. It's one of the "loudest" songs I've ever heard, regardless of volume, because it somehow cuts through everything else. Crazy how much money she's made off it.

But to stay on brand, I'm going to have to go with "Mary Did You Know?" Yes, she knew; GTFO with this Protestant nonsense.

Hippopotamus and Grandma Got Run Over are just silly. Do They Know It's Christmas is treacly pop bullshit. Wonderful Christmastime is maybe even worse.

Honestly the bottom rung is the new wave of PC renditions of Baby It's Cold Outside, which is a weird, creepy song that should just be relegated to the dustbin of history, but instead these well-meaning efforts to render it less sex-predatory by emphasizing consent are actually just making it all so much weirder. It's almost as bad as cancelling the Fairytale of New York because an Irish punk from the early 80s used the word faggot.

Funky Funky Christmas is the worst Christmas song I've ever heard.

Christmas songs are melodic. Funky Funky Christmas is completely amelodic. And my wife loves it because she grew up a NKOB fan. So I have to listen to this song multiple times a year. And it's terrible.
