If the DC got promoted I'd imagine he wants a defensive friendly offense, so I'd imagine they'll still run the triple.
their AD came after Ken N got fired and said they will always be a triple option offense. If the DC got promoted I'd imagine he wants a defensive friendly offense, so I'd imagine they'll still run the triple.
True. I think the offense is what it is. If you have the right mix of guys it can be difficult for opponents. Seems like they never hit at QB since Reynolds graduated. And, I think Covid restrictions and the aftermath hit them harder than AF and Army in terms of not being able to take advantage of the Covid year. Seems dumb that all of the academies weren't the same, but that's my understanding of it.The defense these past few seasons have been very good. The offense itself has been pretty bad and they were worried about the DC getting poached eventually. Might as well give it a try
And Coach Ken is likely thinking KMAG YOYOSo Navy fired their best coach ever and took a PR hit in how they did it just to promote the DC?
Makes no difference to me since my grandfather was an Army man, but it seems kinda fubar.
Army went to a spread for one year a few seasons back and it was a diasterI don't know how Air Force, Army and Navy can run any other offense with the personnel they'd get consistently.
The first thing he did upon being hired at U of I was contact the head of the state's HS Football association. I believe almost literally the first thing he did when the deal was done for him to be the HC of Illinois. For as big of a douche Bielema apparently is, he actually had some solid relationships with HS coaches in the south while he was at Arky.
ah the Run and Shoot open passing game is part of their DNA now, they couldnt abandon itTimmy Chang just got there. They went 3-10. It's probably harder to win at Hawaii right now than the service academies.
Their facilities are complete garbage, including the stadium they play in. The situation is not good. From a football standpoint, running the option wouldn't be a bad idea.
Right. Just leave everything the way it is and it'll all sort itself.ah the Run and Shoot open passing game is part of their DNA now, they couldnt abandon it
I want to see that happen for so many reasons… 😂BK tweeted to supposedly be interested in the broncos job.
That’d be hilarious but I cannot imagine the NFL wants any part of a $90 million buyout or whatever it is.BK tweeted to supposedly be interested in the broncos job.
I don't see it happening either....... but it is Denver and they just signed Wilson to $242 mil so they aren't the brightest team out there. That’d be hilarious but I cannot imagine the NFL wants any part of a $90 million buyout or whatever it is.
