Seriously can we change the hover on the thread to show the last post rather than the first so we can see without entering the thread whether the latest comment has to do with the topic or is just a big waste of time? Would be very nice. Sick of going to threads about recruits and seeing everything else being discussed except the actual recruit. Its tiresome. I know I am new but I also know I am not the only one that feels this way. All the love in the world guys.

Not sure how Sean Astin reintroduced Notre Dame. Rudy was released in September 1993.


Notre Dame's records in the 5 years preceding September 1993 were 10-1-1, 10-3, 9-3, 12-1, and 12-0. They never finished a season ranked lower than 13th. They won a national championship in that time frame. Finished runner up once. The year Rudy came out, Notre Dame went 11-1 and arguably coulda/shoulda/woulda had a national championship. Sorta the glory years of "modern" Notre Dame football.

Had Rudy come out in 2004, sure! Notre Dame had been wandering the the Sinai like God's Chosen People for a decade at that point. But ND were some bad dudes in college football when Rudy came out.

OU hasn't "won anything" since Josh f'ing Heupel was playing.
