I don't care if it's Card, Buchner, Leary, or Armstrong starting next season. I care that the starting QB at ND is being earned. This goes one step further into ensuring that said QB is prepared for the 2023 season.

Buch was given the job because there was no reasonable competition. He was clearly not prepared for it.

The bowl game is another opportunity for him to show that he is or can be prepared to start next season. It only makes the room better to have a fierce competition between Buch and the transfer they bring in.
