Really disappointed to not see more Botelho, considering how bad Foskey played.

Don’t you think the coaches might know something and have a reason not to play him very much? He’s on his third D coordinator since he’s been at ND, none of which have felt the need to give him much burn. Perhaps he’s just not that good.

Freeman seemed to want to get him on the field quite a bit last year, but obviously, because Foskey and Justin Ademilola were playing so well, that's difficult to do. So he had to move him to LB, which isn't his natural position.

But neither of them played well against Ohio State throughout the whole game. I just wished they'd have given him a shot, because those two were completely non-existent and having them out there was accomplishing nothing. It's hard to pull Foskey obviously, because of what he's capable of doing, but it was just beyond frustrating watching him play so horribly.

Man, can't wait to this game. We need to get back on track. I'm hoping for 42 to 17.

Unless Foskey has an undisclosed injury/illness I'm assuming he was handled by OSU's tackles because they are really good. If that's the case Botelho would have been a non factor.

O/U 1.5 catches for Tobias M against Marshall? Keep in mind Wilkins is a likely scratch and Colzie is definitely a scratch

Really hope we don't rush Patterson back too soon. Feels like the entire season might hang on his health.
While I of course want him back and healthy, I think that comment is hyperbolic. I think the oline continues to gel. And the only other game that concerns me is Clemson. And with their O, ND still wins.
OSU is the only team better than ND they play imo.

Unless Cade Klubinik starts, he came in and looked fantastic in a way DJ hasn't outside the 2020 game.

You're probably right, but I doubt we can expect to see significant improvement from Correll or Lugg, and having major liabilities on your IOL opens up all sorts of possibilities for chaos and getting upset by inferior teams. Hoping Patterson's return solidifies things.

Anyone ever park in the Eddie Street parking garage on gameday? I am thinking of parking there Saturday morning. Any idea what the price is?

If MF is planning on playing him, then maybe he's healing better than what some think? Regardless, this seems like the perfect game to give him additional rest.

If Patterson does play in this game, then one of two things needs to happen, provided no other OL personnel changes happen:

1) Patterson back to center, Kristofic stays at LG, Correll to bench

2) Patterson to LG, Kristofic to RG, Lugg to bench

You cannot justify sitting Kristofic and keeping both Correll and Lugg out there when Kristofic was the only interior guy who was even moderately effective at times against Ohio State.

Time to cut ties, new IOL of Kristofic, Patterson & Spindler

Perfect time to get reps together before we play good competition, unfortunately we probably lost to OSU because they couldn’t communicate and block effectively to give buchner time to complete passes down field

Hey friends. I have only had the joy of going to one ND game in the past. My new wife has never been and I want her to become an ND fan as much as I am. I am bringing her to her first football game tomorrow! We will try to get there bright and early in the day. I would love to show her the campus, some traditions, cool stuff, etc. Iḿ sure she would like all the ambiance as much, if not more than the game. What would you guys recommend we do if we get there around 8 AM or so? Where you would park, etc. Thanks a ton, guys.

I've always had pretty good luck parking South of Eddy Street Commons: Howard St, St. Peter St, St. Vincent St, etc. You should be able to avoid postgame traffic on Ironwood, Twychenham, and Angela.

If you won't be making it to campus today, I would do the tour tomorrow morning. Show her the Grotto, Golden Dome, Touchdown Jesus. The bookstore is always a good place to stop too. In my opinion, an underrated place to stop is the lake. That is right next to the Grotto. If you have extra time, maybe take her to the lots for tailgating.

Nobody asked the follow up question of where JP was going to slot in so I’m assuming he’ll be LG until someone says otherwise

Read where Marshall hired their Offensive and Defensive Coordinators away from Willie Taggert's staff at Florida Atlantic.

My confidence level has improved.

If there is less than a 5 handle on ND's score, I will wonder why.....
