Like Chris Collingsworth. Good high level player and will say a negative thing about what's going on the field,
I believe that his pre-broadcast prep is excellent. Does not say stupid "original" stuff to get emotions going.
A football guy. Sense of humor --- used to doofus around with Howie Long on the set when he was there rather in the booth.
Son Jac is a good announcer too. Follows after the old man in pre-game prep. Both are very intelligent. Both like ND. (obviously)

I watched them in the Hall of Fame game.
Jac was ok, but Garrett was pretty bland. He let quiet Dungy talk all over him. Hopefully he can become decent, but I'm not a fan of NBC using guys "learning on the job" with the Irish broadcast.

To be honest, there isn't much of anything original coming out of any color guys mouths these days. It's all be said a thousand time. It's just about the delivery IMO.

It is funny. My rep score is awful - I understand. I guess I can be a crumudgeon and not easily pleased. But I don't rip on people personally.... But in terms of who is Driskell on IE....Lets put it this way, Driskell argued with me on IB and on IE. I know who Driskell is on IE.
The funny thing on IB is:
1. He encourages people to give counter opinions (like Ryan Roberts and others on videos) in such a silly way it reminds me of John Candy in Stripes telling the other Poker Player to "Go-All-In" against him after he has seen their hand....then when people take him to task, he bans them or attacks them personally in the most indignant way
2. The Dancing Emojis - He criticizes late Crystal Balls and claims he has the best intel but put outs Dancing Emojis that don't state what recruit he believes is committing and then takes ownership a week later after the Commit. It is like a bad parlour trick that clearly is meant for a really stupid audience which I guess are the remaining subscribers that he hasn't band and are synchophants.
3. Built Bars: He pushes Built Bars which are basically really bad carb ladened protein bars. The best thing he could do is push intermittent fasting or just not eating at all. I didn't think Quarterbacks looked like he does. But I guess not all QBs look like Tom Brady or Brady Quinn.
I really tried to relate to Bryan but he was just so awful to me so I guess that is why I call him Soup Nazi. It fits him perfectly.
