Cripe. Dude has been here for 7 years, finally showing signs of promise and his career ends like this.

How could we not find ONE grad transfer receiver this off-season.

We don’t have the scholarship. Not to distract from Davis but it’s that simple. When Aiden K got hurt they decided Chris Smith was most needed. A scholly never opened up, here we are.

Any idea what Jesus's plan for the WR room this season is?

Jesus says pray you make it out of Ohio Stadium in one piece and without Lenzy, Merriweather or Styles going down.

Kevin McDougal isn’t coming out of that tunnel but trust me, there is a plan.

Luckily, I think that plan is very similar to scUM’s last year. And we can play that game vs OSU.

Feel so bad for him. He looks heartbroken. He's a great young man and will have a great life after football. Best of luck to you Avery and thanks for entertaining us at Notre Dame.

I was shocked hearing about this news!! It was so heart breaking and gut wrenching!! The good news is that this young man will have a very successful life because of his degrees. I wish this young man all the success in whatever he decides to do. We need more people like Avery in this world. Truly blessed and thankful to watch him play for our Irish!! Best of luck to you Avery! Get well soon!

Clemson down the middle (amongst other big plays). I was very excited to see him succeed at WR. Wishing him the best of luck with whatever he does in life.

Consummate teammate, position switches and all. He really didn't deserve this. Definitely a Notre Dame man.

It's mid August and he tore his other ACL. Take your degrees and start the 40 years.
You are probably right.
I just keep thinking with these case “you are a long time retired” and maybe he gets some NIL.
He should call up some ex players like Crawford and have a chat get some opinions.

Before Diggs went out at the B&G game he lined up at WR for a play. With Tyree's versatility could he go into a slot and the same for Gi'Bran Payne if he is ready? A 3 TE set with Mayer, Baumann, & Raridon (if he plays & is ready)?

He's entering his mid 20s and has ACL surgery on both knees. Time to walk away. Literally.

Diggs has some pass catching ability, but he's a better blocker than Tyree. Tyree has shown he's a great receiver, and he is a dangerous weapon when he gets the ball in the open field too because of his straight-line speed. While Diggs should be fine lining up at WR, between the two of them I'd keep Diggs in the backfield for his blocking and line Tyree up more in the Slot.
