I don't think we should give up on M'Pemba but if 3 of the teams he's considering are the ones shelling out the most money upfront, yeah it should absolutely be a watch out to the coaches.
And if he's after a bag he probably won't be Irish. But if he wants to come for an OV you damn sure make the case for why he should be. There's zero downside for us in continuing to pursue the kid.

Christian Grays Instagram story

The response from the commits with regard to Bowen versus Keeey has been interesting. Always feels like Drayk Bowen is recruiting Peyton back whereas multiple commits have laughed at the Keeley stuff now.

Shannon Terry (on3) understands that clicks and views sell more than thoughtful analysis. Easiest way for On3 to gain popularity is pushing drama between big time programs.

The On3 model gets worse and worse when you dig deep. Flip watch %s, RPM, NIL valuation, one guy doing evals it’s all fugazi. Not to mention some of the writing, they have employees with sole purpose to just rip other media and poorly source new articles out of them quickly for clicks. I replied to one once where they took like 8 quotes from an existing article and only hyperlinked it once, may not even have originally credited it, and Pollard said he’d be okay with it I know him.

I did it because I could, it was fun, and was in my best interest
Define "troll."
I'm going to be a negative poster here and therefore it was beneficial for me to get an accredited and respected mod to admit that negative posters are held to a different standard
Whoa! Do you practice law as your day job? You so effortlessly manipulated me into making a damning admission on the record in a public forum! We've been quite open about criticism of the program being held to a higher standard here for a long time.
He will also afford me a much longer leash going forward now because of this admission. I flipped dude from a "GTFO" to a "Stick around"
I debated just banning you and watching the thankful posts roll in, but figured it was worth giving you a shot at reform. You're apparently the sort that views any gesture of mercy as weakness. Now that we understand each other better, I know how to speak your language as well.

You'll see just how long your leash is shortly.

Define ‘new’,…
NEW: Adjective
1. not existing before; made, introduced, or discovered recently or now for the first time.
"new crop varieties"

2. already existing but seen, experienced, or acquired recently or now for the first time.
"her new bike"

In all seriousness, The newbs who are causing a Koon-like raucous in the recruiting threads, they know who they are. Very recent, there's a few of them. We're just trying to discuss some killer recipes in these threads and they're really mucking up the waters ,…

Talented players + talented coaches + a little bit of luck = championship

Saban is just lucky that Lou is too old to beat his ass, like Jimmy Johnson
I was hopeful the combination of NIL, the ramifications of Lincoln Riley at USC, Brian Kelly at LSU, Dabo still a big factor, Jimbo buying classes, Georgia and Ohio State doing their thing, and the emergence of the Freeman era, that Saban would sink. Not happening. Now if only Urban Meyer took over at Miami or some shit. I knew when Bama started buying classes, we were all fucked.

They've always been buying classes.

North Dakota State's head coach says NIL has started impacting FCS recruiting. This is going to get really dumb across all Division 1.

The concept of NIL is fine but the practice is absurd.

saban got a blank check to build a long lasting championship program at bama. He did that through coaches and support staff, juco, facilities, etc etc before anyone else did anywhere near that level. Georgia is and LSU is trying to copy bama right now. He also figured out how to partner with admissions and have classes/degrees that have even less work than before.

He built a football factory, others are trying. ND will not, so they need to leverage the advantages we have.

Ty Lockwood is tweeting about Keon now. This can't be a good look for Bama...

The way we are so easily flipping Dylan Edwards while we're grasping to hold onto Keeley, it makes me wonder if we are just having trouble identifying our place in circle of life. Some programs are 4 star programs. Some are 5 star programs. Some are 3 star programs. ND seems to be a 4 star program until proven otherwise.

Does that mean OSU is a four star program after Bama easily flipped their TE?
Look, until we get 5 star kids to sign and push into the top 5, it is what it is. I think we have a good chance of changing that. Ohio State has no problem signing 5 star players, regardless of recent developments. Bama recruits better than us. We are like Kansas State to Bama.

I must have missed when Keeley flipped within days of his Bama offer and one visit.

Lol. I agree with you, definitely a knee jerk reaction, and a hypothetical one at that. Keeley hasn't flipped yet.

There are only a handful of 5 stars any given year, and that pool is even further diminished by ND's admissions standards. Just a bad take.

Have some self-respect, man. We're in a similar position to Clemson circa 2011 or Georgia prior to 2022. They've won three titles between them in the last decade.
