I thought maybe the Vikings would take him, before they traded their pick away. Harrison Smith (one of my all-time favorites), is 32. Still a kid compared to me, but getting old-ish for an NFL safety.

As a Colts fan, wish the Eagles had never dealt for Wentz giving up the pick.

Hamilton had been Bob Sanders 2.0

They play entirely different games. Sanders was a super-charged firecracker that would pop your head off. Hamilton is not nearly as physical as him. And Sanders did not have the ball-hawk mentality that Hamilton does.

Beautiful landing spot. Once he got out of the Top 10 was rooting for that

Wow. All I can say is there's about 9-10 teams that are going to look REALLY stupid when this season is over.

Take the safety position for granted at your own peril.

Wish he landed somewhere else but good luck to him. He’s gonna be great.

Hope Baltimore can find some dangerous edge rushers to help the secondary. What will the Ravens do with their current starting safeties? There is no way Hamilton isn't a day 1 starter (outside of injury).

NFL needed to see that Fiesta Bowl tape for him to go top 10
Everything I read was his 40 times at the combine and pro day is what turned teams off. The problem IMO is that too many focus on 40 times and not the players game speed. Doesn't help to have a great 40 time if it takes you a few seconds to process what's happening. Hamilton makes up for it by quickly recognizing what's happening and his long stride. Ravens got a steal.

This is why organizations like the Ravens and Patriots continue to be good because they get things like this to go their way on draft day. He's going to be an All Pro in Baltimore.

Pretty dumb that a 40 time outweighs watching a guy play two or three years of high-level college football but that's the NFL for you.

This is a great spot for Kyle and congrats to him. When I think of the Ravens I think of defense and they made their defense much better.

His ND career flew by, it seems like he just signed with ND, too bad he couldn't play a full season last year.

Redskins passed on JOK last year for some crap linebacker out of Kentucky who can't play football and then traded out of picking Hamilton this year (with a desperate need at safety) to draft a questionable WR when they could've just picked Olave or Jameson Williams. They are one of the worst run franchises in sports, top to bottom.

I have said that ever since I was a teenager. Unless they are running a 40 padded up in game gear it’s useless. He missed the second half of the season so they also didn’t get to see any game film after he got hurt which I do understand.

It just goes to show that all these people saying he was a top 5 or 10 pick clearly aren’t paying attention to what’s actually going on.

That last few years have been horrible. He is by far the widest owner in all professional sports.

It's what Snyder deserves.

These guys go through a very thorough medical evaluation prior to the draft. They should know if he's ready.

It was a dumb move by Washington no doubt, but I'm so glad Kyle doesn't have to play there for the worst owner in the league by far.
