JOK disputed that (see post #409 above.) All these NFL draft "insiders" beclowned themselves by claiming that teams were discounting him due to size, scheme fit, etc. That they immediately started back-pedaling into an undisclosed heart problem is a little too convenient in my opinion.

Both are true. JOK disputed it because he doesn't have a heart condition, but some teams did take him off their boards because their reports about his heart hadn't come back yet. Doesn't make sense for them to be backtracking immediately after the draft before he'd even played yet.

I’m still convinced more teams took him off their board due to scheme than any medical. I said it I guess not here but maybe the draft thread but the hybrid LB/S guys have been busts relative to their draft position. Isaiah Simmons, Jabrill Peppers. You draft a classic plug and play LB or any position and he busts it’s whatever. You draft a undersized hybrid new age LB and he busts you look bad. The risk taker gets more ridiculed when it goes wrong. JOK plays with way more football knowledge and instinct than most of his predecessors though.
