Agreed. My argument is we're not signing enough top talent. I think we've developed players with Del at the helm. Hell, for what we did last year w/running the ball, I think our two WRs ranked 1st and 2nd in the country in run blocking. I think WR talent is the lynchpin. I really hope we can make a splash this cycle.

Meh I'm not buying it. Agree to disagree here I'm not sold on him in player development. Hoping I'm wrong and would gladly eat crow

I guess I have been living under a rock and never really noticed the size of all these TEs.

I googled and the average TE is 6ft 3in... but just looking at the good ones....

Yea, the real uniqueness here is that he's supposedly a true 6'6 with plus athleticism. There just aren't many guys like that. It makes his ceiling as high as any TE out there or on our roster. But, it'll probably take him some time to get to that level.

Tremble is a just over 6’3. I honestly thought he’d come in even shorter but that was from Pro Day. Was one of the things I was curious about going in, he just doesn’t look 6’3 even. Maybe because he’s next to a massive OL and Kmet/Mayer all the time

I hope the TEs that are good enough to earn minutes down the road don't transfer out. It doesn't seem like a position group that would leave early but you never know. Whole lotta talent there. I'm trying to imagine Bauman, Berrong and Evans with one more full year of S&C training/training table. Fortunately Mayer gives us that luxury of looking down the road because he has TE#1 locked down for 2 more years.

It really feels like the staff didn't take flyers on 3 star kids this year. Somehow they unearthed some absolute stud 3 stars before the other big programs found them. Whatever they are doing in the recruiting department is working.
