After reading the article, it sounds like he wants to spend a lot of money.

Big spending is definitely in the plan, but 2 things to keep in mind: 1) with interest rates, it's SUPER cheap money. Like, the best possible conditions imaginable to kick off large capital endeavors 2) It's his style historically to put something out there that everyone can score wins against and still survive. The final bill/law won't look anything like what's out there now, and that's probably intentional.

If the Republicans run against a lot of the popular programs or run on lowering the corporate tax rate/defunding the IRS... that won't go well. Just a wild strategy. It seems like putting out a platform that says "this is where we can work with Biden" with specific policy initiatives so that HE has to be the one to say no would be a lot smarter than being obstructionist on popular policies while simultaneously trying to convince people that the other side is the one that doesn't want to work together.

I’m more curious how many people even turned it on. I tried watching Braves/Cubs, tried watching basketball, then I just decided to catch up on house stuff. I’m sure it was all peaches and rainbows in the view of the left and just the opposite from the right.
