If his brother has the kind of season I expect going off his blue gold game then I bet he/we will reconsider.

That is what I understand. ND likes him and he likes ND but I dont know if we are going to take any pure LBs right now

He’s visiting OSU and they’ve upped the interest. I hope he goes just about anywhere else that he is interested.

Nebraska was the other 'warm' on 247 besides ND. While I don't want him at OSU, what would a BS in Detasseling do for him in Jersey?

I just looked over OSU's Visitors list for June 20-22. It looks like someone in their recruiting copy/pasted my Hit List... and then got them to visit. SMFH.

If ND doesn't take this kid I feel like it's going to be a huge mistake and they will end up regretting it.

So you disagree? I just don’t understand how we are turning away the highest rated LB since who knows when?! Especially a kid whose performing well at camps

Ha, the highest ranked LB since who knows when? How about the 18' cycle when we landed 2 (Shayne Simon and Jack Lamb). Not some insane feat.

And I don't think he was disagreeing with you as much as pointing out the repetition in your posts.

To be fair Shayne was listed as a safety and yes missed Jack I was looking at a different rating site but my argument is Cody is too good to let go especially to a rival.

To be fair, you have no idea what you are talking about. Shayne Simon played LB at Army game and was moved, on the two relevant services, to OLB. Losing him to a rival? Since when is OSU a rival? If you can't remember the last time we got a LB better than Cody, you surely can't remember the last time we played OSU during the regular season. And now we are calling them a rival. Good grief.

For potentially the first time in your posting history, I agree. I believe a spot should be open for him and he should be pursued. It's not too much to ask to sign 1 LB who is performing incredibly well.

I disagree that we will end up regretting it. I agree that we should be taking him if he wants in.

But I do agree with the staff that there are other positions of greater need.

Saying “especially to a rival” would mean there is more to it than just missing on the recruit, that would make this even more painful. Like if you lost a recruit to a rival and had to play them every year. Since that will not happen, there is nothing “especially” about this.

Come on guys, don't make me agree with Mercy.

OSU's rival 1a or 1b during the Silly Season and we're smack dab in the middle of it.

Recruiting rival? Sure. But OSU isn't a true football rival for us and its not even close.
