So either all the folks that have measured him, have added 3 inches to his height in order to help his draft stock (for multiple years now) or your eyeball test isn't very good...........

He's been measured at 6' by OSU for two straight seasons and again at the NFL combine but why would anyone believe that.

Im not a football analyst so my eyeballs are probably off... regardless, he still reminds me of Martin and Ingram. Sorry. Just my opinion.

I just think he looks small. Maybe not as small as a Joseph Randle type. But Doug Martin is something like 5'9 220 and he looks small compared to many other RBs in the league. I just think Elliot looks more like a Doug Martin or Ingram than some of the bigger RBS like an AP or Carlos Hyde or Gurley who are all measured at like 6'0 or 6'1. I just have a bad feeling Elliot is going to be injured all the time. Just a gut feeling.

At least I know where you stand.

Have you read "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman?

No apologies necessary, I appreciate the opinion. However, I guess you don't get what I'm saying. You're saying that he looks 5'9 as your opinion. I'm telling you that its fact, he is 6' 225. Which is not small, at all.

You are telling me he is an injury risk as an opinion. I'm telling you he has zero injury history, that is fact.

If he is an injury risk, then every single player being drafted is. Therefore, that being a reason for "bust" potential seems silly to point out, as every other player would as well.

I guess when someone is willing to step out and call a player a bust, I thought they'd have a more thought out thesis for doing so.

Ingram carved himself a nice role the past couple years, not that that is worth a first rounder or even a top 5 pick. I like Elliot and wish him well. He could definitely put the Boys' offense over the top.

Running behind that Dallas line, I expect EE to do well.

What is wrong with being 5'9" for a RB? Many very good to great RBs have been that height:
Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders (I think he was actually 5'8"), Frank Gore, Priest Holmes, Marshall Faulk (5'10"), Ladainian Tomlinson was 5'10", etc.

Lucci already debunked EE's height (he is 6'0") but height doesn't mean shit for a RB.

i think all along jerry Jones saw the "next emmitt smith" with Ezekiel and once that got in his head the pick was sealed.

I have no in depth thesis. Sorry again. But in regards to RBs, there is not perfect height or weight. My bad for thinking Elliott is smaller than what he actually is. His run style reminds me of Ingram and Martin, who are smaller and thats just how i categorized him. I dont think Elliot runs like an AP or Hyde or Foster. And those guys are technically just 1 inch taller than Elliot. Thats where I was coming from. So again, Im sorry my analysis wasnt up to par for what the other posters here were expecting. Ill just see myself out.

Assbag Roger will probably hit him with a two game suspension. After all, it's not like he was "at least generally aware" of improper handling of footballs.

According to the report, cops also spoke with 4 witnesses -- but they all told cops they didn't see an assault. One of the witnesses was in the car at the time of the alleged incident.

So someone that was literally in the car with them says the accusation is not true....

He was only a junior, right? Any chance he foregoes his deal with Dallas to play one year at FSU?

I want him punished as much as any one else if it is true. However, the man deserves due process before we prosecute in the court of public opinion.

Only applies to court of law. The court of public opinion works just the opposite. You are guilty and have to prove your innocence beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Suspended 6 games by the NFL despite proof that the alleged "victim" asked multiple people to lie to the police for her and pretend Elliot was physically abusive.

Proof that she asked people to lie, no proof he ever laid a hand on her, no charges from police. Suspended 6 games to look tough on domestic violence.

The NFL is a private institution. Don't get me wrong, I love Zeke's game and wish he wasn't getting suspended. But he has multiple incidents and the league has precedent here with how they have punished other players.

The whole "the man deserves due process" is a completely incorrect way of looking at it. For example, if a privately held Pepsi distributor's driver got a DUI, does anyone here think the company should be forced to let that employee stay on until the court proves his guilt? That's not the real world.

A lot of people think that the Giants Mara is behind this. Compare this w/ Josh Brown's incident and it seems possible

I disagree. What process is the man's "due" is the issue.

A private party doesn't have to give someone the benefit of a "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard, because his liberty is not on the line. But they also don't have to, and shouldn't, presume he is guilty if their are really solid reasons for trusting his side of the story. People shouldn't be punished for things they didn't do, obviously!

They don't have some legal obligation to prove guilt in anything. Hence the entire section of the Code of Conduct (which Zeke signed) about "Actions Detrimental To The League". He has no right to play in the league, it's an agreement he made with a private enterprise with a written set of rules in which he agreed to comply.

I just think he's completely innocent. There is no proof that any of those bruises came from Elliot, and there's a shitton of evidence that she was actively trying to set Zeke up for domestic violence to get back at him + get $$ from a settlement.

If all signs point to him being completely innocent, then fuck any organization that chooses moralizing over facts and fairness.
