We may be witness to a new position in football when Mr. Young gets to SB...

The Slot Guard.

I pity the nickel that lines up in front of Lil Q when the jet sweep comes from the other side. He's the Mini-Mauler!

Nice pickup. Congrat Michael Young! He'll be a dynamic slot WR in this offense.

How tall is he. If he is actually 5'11 i am more than pumped about this. I think he is a very good pick up either way

I don't see that as that crazy. With Hunter, ESB, CJ and others, there is a chance that could happen. We might not have a WR as good as Fuller but we could have a more talented WR group this year.

Especially if you include Jones in that group.
Also, you have to factor in that Zaire/Kizer are going to be more polished... They missed guys last year. Could be higher completion percentages across the board.

I'm not one to bring up or complain about stars .... BUT THREE STARS ?????

I just watched his video, and while I'm no scout by any means , but DAMNNNN this kid looks good !! He's got speed to burn, cuts very well with the ball, and as others have referenced , he blocks like a BEAST!

LOVE THIS KID!

Is there a guy on the roster that we could even compare him to? He's more physical than CJ Sanders. TJ Jones maybe? He's an intriguing prospect and I'm excites to see what Denbrock does with him

Just read he has "long arms" for his size and has a 39'' vert.

Golden Tate. That's my comparison.

Good lord guys. I'll say this and then I'll leave it alone since this is morphing into something completely different.

I'm not saying that ND's offense is doomed or that guys like ESB, Hunter, or Sanders can not be productive in a spread offense. I'm not saying that one of those guys can't individually step up and have a great year.

All that I'm saying is that an ALL-AMERICAN WR like Fuller is hard to replace. To expect that to be done by a guy like ESB who has......less than 5 career catches (?), seems unlikely. Will Fuller brought a different dimension to this offense. You can say he was a "one trick pony" all you'd like but in my opinion, that's what made his production all the more impressive. Teams knew what he was going to do and he did it anyway. He was dominant at the position and that won't be replaced this year by anyone.

I expect the running game and the intermediate passing game to be successful. There's a lot of talent on offense coming back and I fully expect ND to be productive on that side of the ball.

Will Fuller had 3 catches, or some low number, his freshman year. I don't think 1 person other than his own mom thought he would be able go to replace the production that TJ Jones age Daniels had the year before. Someone will step up this year. It might be one of the freshmen. And I think we have more talent this year then what we thought we had in 2014.

Congratulations to Michael, and the entire Young family! Love my Bayou Irish, and Destrehan and the river parishes play big boy football.

Honestly think a pretty good high school comp is Corey Coleman. Probably an inch or two shorter than Coleman though... doesn't look like 5'11" is accurate, he looks more 5'10" or 5'9".

Anyways, short area quickness and toughness reminds me of Corey Coleman on first watch of his film. Coleman didn't have any blocking in his clips though lol... and probably has better top end speed by a good margin.

So how do you project a 5'10" guy which questionable top end speed? Slot obviously... better Toma?

Watched the film. Much better than I expected after seeing his ratings and offers. I feel like this guy's going to play some as a freshman, and be depended on as a play maker as a sophomore. He looks good, and plays with attitude.

Incomparable to Toma. His top-end speed is okay, but his agility and elusiveness are incredible. Toma, good guy and all, couldn't do what this kid can do in space and on the block. I'm not overly concerned about his top-end speed, as I think he can improve upon that, but that agility and tenacity are genuine article.

I'd say he's a solid 5'10 and I can see him getting his 40 down into the 4.5 range.

Don't actually care that much about his 40 if we have a good QB who can anticipate. His initial cut is quick enough to get him open almost everytime.
