One word: DOOM.
If you can handle blood it is by far the most epic game I've played in years. I'm a huge fps person though and I love id so I'm a bit biased.

Never did finish Legend of Dragoon. I liked the game, but a bitch of a gf at the time erased my damn memory card because she was too stubborn to let me change the page myself (One of those big, multi-page PS1 cards from back in the day).

Those birds are brutal. I would rather fight a red dragon or stoneman personally. At least they aren't going to pull all sorts of magic BS until you are effectively dead.

I once knew the Mountain Cave (Not the Swamp Cave) front to back and could traverse it and pickup all the treasure chests without a torch or Radiant. I'd farm the chests, pickup some xp, then leave and repeat. One chest had a decent 100+ gold, but there was a rare chance to get a Cursed Necklace in that same chest which sold for huge chunks of cash. Once I had enough for a Broad Sword I'd go to Rimuldar and upgrade.
I remember trying to play that game at 5 or 6, before I could really read or do RPG math, and it was a bitch. I ended up hiding the game behind the TV, hoping I'd forget about it. Came back to it a year or two later and it was a totally different experience, so much fun.

I'm currently playing some 7 Days to Die on PS4 with some buddies. I really enjoy the game on PC, but my buddies are lame and don't have PCs, so we're doing it on console. The multiplayer is pretty much crap right now though, way too many crashes. The company that did the console port did a shit job, we get a crash about once every hour or two. Otherwise it's pretty fun, although I still prefer playing it with mouse and keyboard.
I've been playing something else too. Obsidian Entertainment (Fallout: New Vegas, Knights of the Old Republic 2, South Park: Stick of Truth) created a game called Pillars of Eternity. Many of the people at Obsidian were also the publishers for the Baldur's Gate I & 2 on PC back in the day. Pillars of Eternity very much plays like Baldur's Gate between the party mechanics and the D&D concepts (Without the D&D specific spells and such, they're renamed). From a questing/RPG standpoint it's true to Obsidian in that there are a ridiculous number of possible dialogue choices and paths you can take when questing. There's also factions and reputation. Overall it's been pretty fun, good characters and story. I believe it supports both active combat (With AI), or turn based movement/actions, but so far I've just been using the active combat. Classes you can play as include: Barbarian, Chanter (Somewhat like a Bard), Cipher (Something like a Psion or Warlock I gather, haven't met one yet), Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Ranger, Rogue, and Wizard.

I'm gonna jump back into Overwatch tonight if my "Save the Baby" class doesn't go too late.
I played Battlefront last night, just playing "Blast," and enjoyed myself for a couple of hours. It was nice to do the brainless "run around and try to kill everything" for a bit, and it helped that matchmaking put me with a bunch of other noobs. I was pwning fools after my first two matches.
It will be nice to get back to Overwatch and do something that requires some actual brain power, though.

Negative, my only action so far was basic matchmaking (I think) with Greyhammer.
I did utilize the headset, though me and Grey were the only two communicating.

Beat the Dragon Lord last night...
It was odd, I remember that final battle being so freakin hard back in the day... To say it was a formality and unchallenging would put it lightly, I came, I saw, I kicked Dragon Lord's ass!!..... In like 30 seconds...

I'm guessing I was just young or sitting on a lower level... Though the level thing is hard to grasp bc I played that game a lot back then... I only played about a week or two now and got to level 27 quite easily... Either way, dude was super easy...

Last time I played it was on an emulator. There is a part 3/4 through where you have to save and reset to continue, and the emulator can't do that. Needless to say, I was pissed.

Yeah, I typically beat him around Level 20 and he was much more of a challenge at that level. I could see 27 being a cake walk.
I haven't ever played it on emulator, just console, but can't you just use save states? It's been awhile since I've played though, so I'm not remembering what you're referring to.
The way it was meant to be played. I'd send you an extra copy if I had one.
