Steve and Loy both put in CBs for Holmes. I think we might get him and Young tomorrow

If Holmes, Pouncey and Young all commit, does that wrap-up WR recruiting or do we save space for one more? I know Kelly & Co like to use positional flexibility for recruits so one could flip sides.

Just curious about numbers now that we're starting to move quickly toward 20.

I'd bet, just like always, there'll always be room for the most elite talent regardless of position...

So if the best, fastest, most unbelievable receiver or projected receiver wants in, I'm sure there's room.

We might make a WR an All American RB. ;)

Guys like Hezekiah and Tarik Black will always have a spot IMO. So ,no, I don't think they'll be done. Plus, I don't think Holmes will play receiver in college

CJ Holmes won't count towards WR. I think you are going to get 4 WR's this year. That does not include Isaiah Robertson either. Robinson gone. Hunter can leave. Corey Holmes might be able to graduate and grad transfer. claypool is not a guaranteed long term WR. Possibility of a transfer, grades, scandal, alien abduction.

Tariq black text Loy saying Boom just wait on it. We have to assume that means Holmes will or has committed!

Loy is on fire with his predictions again... Go Irish!

As soon as Michael Young commits, 80% of this board will have successfully CB'd the new commits. You didn't have to be Elon Musk to figure it out cuz it wasn't rocket science.

I'd like it better if the pylons were festooned with Images of Trojans, Spartans, Trees, Wolverines, Longhorns, Elephants, Gators, Seminoles, and the like.

It could provide a bit of insight into attitude and inclination.

No need to rush. 2018 kid with no position

Sounds like he earned it. Multiple sources brought up his name as a top performer.

And contrary to what GB said, ND's now officially on the clock. He's been to campus twice, worked out for them on a national stage. If you slow play him now, it can have permanent implications. He's got the other regional big boys sniffing around... MSU, Wisco & Michigan will offer, Lovie, Iowa and home market NW already have. This doesn't even take into account interest form Miami and Clemson. You can't expect everyone to fall to their knees when ND drops a late offer on them, not even the local guys. Timing is very important and is directly related to where the recruit sees himself on the program's board.

committed to oregon

I posted the announcement tweet a few pages back. Did anyone confirm if he was in SB when he committed? 247 added him being at II yesterday morning though their timeline isn't gospel as of late.

The only one I still need to hit to win on my "Another Notre Dame Offseason" Bingo Card.

You are welcome. It's ND, where anything can happen in the dog days of summer.

I have a potion for him, wr. I don't need to see more than I did on the ii highlights to see he can play wr. Hasn't played his Jr year yet and he was a mismatch against every corner he faced.

Dude you watched him play with shorts and a tank top on watching some "highlights" and you've seen all you needed to see? Illinois and Iowa are his best offers, let him play his junior year and see how he progresses. Nobody has offered him and I don't think he's fast enough or explosive enough to play WR. If anything he's a TE who needs a lot of room to grow. He's on ND's radar but I doubt he gets offered soon if he does good for him and he must of had a good camp. IMO staff wants to see how he plays this year but no doubt he's a good looking kid but he's either a TE or OLB. ND is in no need for another big WR

He can't catch. He had multiple drops at Irish Invasion on easy balls.

No video has shown that. The highlight video for the day had several of his catches and I, too, thought he looked really good. If you're not at the event, you can only judge by what is put out there for us to see.
