The perfect swing player for HH. He couldn't be a better fit. He's been playing pretty darn well on the circuit, FWIW.

His next visit will be to ND if that wasn't discussed in the video

It's wasn't. Is he coming next weekend for the Spring game? That would help if he's there with any of the incoming '16 & '17 OL commits that are attending

He and Hainsey both. It's going to be tough for HH to sell him that being able to compete as a swing lineman or pure guard two or more years down the road at ND is better than being a starting tackle for UK by year 2. Wills is the #3 OT on Rivals, #5 on Scout... You know he sees himself as a starting LT and he probably should but he's gonna have a lot of prototype tackles stacked deep ahead of him.

That's another reason why I wish they'd go after the big time 6-3, 300 recruit that knows his future is at guard. '18's Emil Ekiyor at Indy Cathedral is a perfect example. No offer for him even though classmate Markese Stepp got one at RB.

No. His dad has to be out of town for work, but he is planning on getting up to ND again very soon. -rivals

Wills, who is ranked by Rivals.com as the nation's No. 3 offensive tackle, told Blue & Gold Illustrated that a return trip to South Bend is on deck ($). He fared well against underclassmen defensive ends like Dante Stills and Ani Izuchukwu, and remains a priority for Hiestand and the rest of the Irish coaching staff.

Besides being a big, light skinned brother from KY, no.

Wills likes HH. Wills knows if he goes to ND he's going to get paid on Sundays. What I think is ND's hurdle is depth chart. If Wills goes to any school besides ND and maybe 2 or 3 others, the odds are he's gonna be the starting LT someday. No guarantees of that at ND, in fact I'd say the odds are he'd be the next Q Nelson before he'd be the next Ronnie Stanley. He's built for it. LT is a tough position to let go, they get called early and often on draft day.

Considering where Zack and Nick Martin got drafted and w/ Q Nelson coming down the pipe, HH is going to be able to make a fairly convincing case that he can get you paid regardless of where you line up at ND.

Of course he can. ND offers the best overall package. It includes insurance policies in both positional flexibility at the NFL level and a bulletproof education in case noting between the lines comes to fruition. It's an easy sell but one of the selling points is not HH sitting in your living room promising you the LT spot for 2-3 years. 90+% of other schools are saying that and they aren't lying.

It also seems UK has a bit of a movement right now on their OLine. They have Wills' current HS teammate, 5 star OT Landon Young (shocked HH didn't want him) coming in this fall along with the #2 OC. I think the sites are right about Wills and think he ends up at hometown UK.

I guess that's what I was referring to. I assumed

what i found cool about the video was that he was extremely low key the ENTIRE part UNTIL he asked him about Stanley going #3...his ENTIRE facial expressions and tone of voice changed in the most positive way

Probably because he knew he went #6 and was surprised/amazed a ND writer got that wrong...

Wilfong CB to ND. Wilfong thinks he could be a difference maker DT as well.

Did he provide any info about why he's predicting ND? 247's last 2 updates on his timeline are visits to Kentucky.

Thinks ND is in top 2 and right there with Kentucky, and mom allegedly prefers ND. Nothing concrete, just that he thinks he eventually chooses us over Kentucky, no mention of hearing that from sources.

I think Wilfong probably wants to make a pick and is betting ND wins out and that's all I got from the article.

Jedrick Wills or Trey Smith, who's higher on the board do you think?

Trey Smith. What I'd like to know is who the staff has higher between Smith and Sarell.

I think I wrote this here earlier... He's been at RT behind 5 star LT Landon Young at his high school. he goes to UK, he's right back behind him in college without having HH to coach you for 3-4 years.

It was mentioned he might pull a Jillery and flip sides to DT. All things considered he had some nice film as a DE. DT at his size should be easier than chasing those feather merchants when they bounce outside. Jedrick Wills could really benefit form the overall positional flexibility that ND is offering him because he's not the guaranteed LT you need to be to skip the ND experience/40 year insurance policy.

Their son can get a great education and be a first round pick in the NFL draft. That's some good parenting right there...

This young man could be a huge piece in this recruiting class (figuratively and literally). I really hope we get a top 50 player like him who provides such flexibility.
