WTF goes through some of these kids heads when it comes to fashion? Put on a nice suit and tie go shake the commissioners hand and go to work!

Think that's pretty hilarious/awesome given the context.

Yeah, this ship has almost certainly sailed. Wouldn't go as far as Killz went though saying he will surely light the college football world on fire. There's a stronger chance of him only getting ~10 touches a game splitting time with Marshall.

Lol LAX. Great predication there bro! Seriously though, 10 touches is about right. 10 carries 200 yards.

Will be at the 3 day junior camp this summer. Dual sport athelte that won the state 110 hurdles as a sophomore. Just received his first four offers last week.

Per Wiltfong we will be tough to beat if we ultimately offer.

Sad bump

Seriously some of these predictions are hilarious.

It amazes that if Deveon Smith committs to OSU then we would have had Elliott. And mostly everyone here was slobbering all over Derrick Green too. I need to visit these archived posts more often. The humour is priceless.

Elliot went #4 OVERALL.

There is a strong argument to be made that he wasnt the 4th best Running back in college last year (Fournette, D Cook, Henry, McCaffrey).

This guy has BUST written all over him.... I'm so glad the Jets weren't tempted to draft this fool due to being a later pick.

To play the devils advocate, as I'm a Cowboys fan. There is also a strong argument to be made that he's one of the best RB prospects to come out in the last 5-10 years. And that's not just from Cowboys fans.

Now, I do understand questioning the pick to some degree, but not based on his talent. More so that next years crop will be very deep so a good RB will be available for teams that need them. The Cowboys have 2 other veteran RB's already so the need isn't really there.

How so? Genuinely interested to hear your thoughts on what makes him such a high bust risk?

Elliot has always reminded me of Mark Ingram. Elliot is probably the smallest RB that I have seen that is listed at 6 foot. He barely looks bigger than a Ingram or a DMartin... I just don't see Elliot lasting. I think hes gonna be constantly injured like Ingram has been.

Ingram carved himself a nice role the past couple years, not that that is worth a first rounder or even a top 5 pick. I like Elliot and wish him well. He could definitely put the Boys' offense over the top.

Being short is not the same as being small. IMO a perfect RB height is 5'10 - 6'0 cuz lower center of gravity. The guy is not small at 225.

His 40 was much faster than I expected, I still think he's to stiff. If he just has gapping holes to run through that wont matter much

I'm sorry but is this serious? He's not small by any means. He's basically the perfect size for an NFl RB. The top 10 rushers last year are all in that 5'11 to 6'1 and 220-230 range. Also, he has no injury history, he's been a two year workhorse on one of the best teams in the country during that time frame. Literally played in 28 straight games. I was genuinely hoping there would be something here to discuss but this is just made up.

Edit: My apologies if this comes across rude. But you did basically make up that he's too small and an injury risk.

I just think he looks small. Maybe not as small as a Joseph Randle type. But Doug Martin is something like 5'9 220 and he looks small compared to many other RBs in the league. I just think Elliot looks more like a Doug Martin or Ingram than some of the bigger RBS like an AP or Carlos Hyde or Gurley who are all measured at like 6'0 or 6'1. I just have a bad feeling Elliot is going to be injured all the time. Just a gut feeling.

So either all the folks that have measured him, have added 3 inches to his height in order to help his draft stock (for multiple years now) or your eyeball test isn't very good...........

He's been measured at 6' by OSU for two straight seasons and again at the NFL combine but why would anyone believe that.
