Not going to lie when I first say the last name and commit. I briefly thought it was Demetris.

Thought there was a typo or strange turn of events.

None the less, awesome pick up. Great way to start the Spring Game weekend.

What's this guy going to play? Looks like a good pickup although abs are TBD.

Anyone know what position plans the staff has for him?

His speed and size are awesome!

Because it's been asked. We're recruiting him as an ATH, with S/WR as the two positions. If I had to bet today, I'd say the staff expects to take him as a S since our WR board seems pretty good right now.

Some combination of Isaiah, OSB, Black & Blount with a shorty thrown in at slot like Young, Jones, Taylor or.... Lindsey would be sweet.

Don't roll your eyes on Lindsey, he's working out everyday with Von Mckinley so you never know....

Love it when the staff snags talent that has the ability to play in various positions. Welcome to the Irish Nation!

Watched is film. Without seeing, I wasn't as excited about him as others, because while his ratings are nice, his offer list is non-existent. But look a legit 6'2" at least with a body to build a strong frame ala Davarius Daniels.

I get the safety, but I feel like his film showed exceptional hands and catching away from his body, which makes me see him at WR, even though we don't need as much help there.

It's true that the staff has done a great job stacking the roster with wide receivers, but I think we all can agree that they have great eyes for talent. Heck, look at Stepherson. I'm never going to doubt one of their offers to a receiver again.

As far as safety/athlete, I think people have mentioned that he may still be growing. Just take versatile athletes and let the staff figure it out.

I've got an idea! Since we get 3-stud WR's a year, and we seem be bare bone at safety every year... MAYBE HE COULD PLAY SAFETY!!!!

when we will everyone realize that moving a WR to play safety just doesn't happen...

S is the hardest position mentally and physically to play on D effectively (requires more of both) ask ANY Def coordinator at any level.

if we want/need safeties we need to recruit SAFETIES!
