This is very unmodlike and I know it and apologize upfront. This is not a personal attack but I just have to ask.... Does anyone else feel dirty, slimy or otherwise greasy after reading NDgradstudents posts?
This is laughable framing. You do realize Trump is the person saying that protestors should be attacked, taken care of, beat up, and otherwise dealt with so his rally's can be held undisturbed right? I can pull together a bunch of quotes if you need them. So if I try to understand you the protected free speech of protestors is limited and violence against protestors IS ok? Yes. Maybe you did not see the scenes in St Louis last night? He is begging his supports to beat up protestors. Beating up protestors is ok as long as it is white people attacking minorities at the behest of Fuhrer Trump.
Free speech is of utmost importance, except if you are a protestor who is legally allowed to assemble at the rally. Lol. "I am free to have speech. You are free to have it, just not here. I will beat the shit out of you for exercising your right to free speech and assembly." " Can you believe these people showed up and made me kick their ass at behest of the Fuhrer?"
Protesters at the rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump rushed the arena floor in jubilant celebration after the announcement that he was calling off the event due to security concerns.
Many jumped up and down, with arms up in the air, shouting “F— Trump!” ”Bernie! Bernie!” and “We stoppedTrump!”
Kamran Siddiqui is a 20-year-old student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where the event was to take place.
He says: “Trump represents everything America is not and everything Chicago is not. We came in here and we wanted to shut this down. Because this is a great city and we don’t want to let that person in here.”
Siddiqui says he’s a supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. He says it “feels amazing” to have stopped Trump from speaking at his own rally.
He adds: “Everybody came together. That’s what people can do. Now people got to go out and vote because we have the opportunity to stop Trump.”
Hours before the event was scheduled to start, hundreds of people lined up outside the arena at the University of Illinois at Chicago — a civil and immigrant rights organizing hub with large minority student populations. Trump backers were separated from an equally large crowd of anti-Trump protesters by a heavy police presence and barricades. …
Chicago community activist Quo Vadis said hundreds of protesters had positioned themselves in groups around the arena, and that they intend to demonstrate right after Trump takes the stage. Their goal, he said, is “for Donald to take the stage and to completely interrupt him. The plan is to shut Donald Trump all the way down.”

Well right here it sounds like you're asking us to prove a negative. If you have proof Obama is ordering the drones to kill whole families as a target, show it. The data dumps done by groups like wikileaks show none of that.
Just watch Trump's clip in which he clearly states he thinks the US should "take out their families." It is not okay, it hints at what an amateur he would be as Commander in Chief. He frames the whole point as our military being too PC, and that we need to "take the gloves off." If that's not proclaiming to the world "we need to be more brutal so they fear us," I don't know what is. Someone who makes these sorts of claims is simply unfit to be in charge of the country.
Unfortunately, he'll be up against a neocon hawk in the general, there won't be any good candidates, foreign policy speaking, this election.
I'm not asking anyone to prove anything. I'm saying we're dealing with two unkowns:
1) Did Obama authorize drone strikes that killed families? We don't know
2) Did Trump mean what he said or was he just talking tough? We don't know.
Irishjayhawk was talking like he was 100% convinced on both which raised my question.

Trump said a thing. I didn't twist it. How dare I take his words and assume that they mean the things. He is advocating that the US commits war crimes.
Trump's is 45% and Cruz' is 15%, but that's obviously a difference in degree, not in kind.I have a ?. At debate Cruz was saying trumps import tax would come out the peoples pocket for price increase. Then immediately said he's going to tax imports but it won't come out American pockets. Is he a wizard? Is this bush fuzzy math?
I'm not sure how Obama committing war crimes would make it okay that Trump is advocating for the same.Trump said a thing. I didn't twist it. How dare I take his words and assume that they mean the things. He is advocating that the US commits war crimes.

From an account of the event:
Trump says many things, some of which are stupid. So what? I'm not aware of other Trump rallies being shut down in this way. This was an organized attack upon a political event, simple as that.
.I don't believe that Trump has this magical power to cause Democrats to riot. They seem to pretty good at doing that without Trump's help, as the Ferguson/Baltimore reign of terror demonstrates. With a few exceptions, college students are taught that behaving in this way gets you what you want...so that's what they do.
.I'll have to keep this one in my pocket the next time I'm threatened with a ban for holding the wrong opinions.
I have more to add if you wish. Though I did say it was not a personal attack. It was personal observation of my mental state after trying to parse through some of your "interesting" posts. That said, at least Cack offered a substantive reply to my comments in addition to the personal attacks. That cannot be said of everyone.
I dunno buster. The link cacky posted out a few months ago about drones and the use of them was interesting... and scary. As the Commander in Chief, I guess the responsibility would start there and go down.

Start your post with "laughable framing" and end with "Fuhrer". Melissa Click must be proud of you.
You bet. Sure beats victim blaming and acceptable levels of violence against free assembly. Haha..

The stonewalling of all legislation and presidential appointments over the past 20 years is pre-dominantly a Republican effort. I'm not claiming Democrats are completely innocent, but the vast majority of the unwillingness to compromise comes from the party of "Just Say No." If only Nancy Reagan had known her anti-drug slogan would become the doctrine of the Republican party.
Trump is the end result of this policy. The Republican party is falling apart before our eyes, and they are trying to take the country down with them. And since the Republicans seem incapable of stopping Trump, Democratic supporters are stepping up to fill the void. The recent protests at Trump's rallies will not be the last. The more Trump encourages violence against his opposition, the more his opposition will rise up to protest.

Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) won a delegate from Guam on Saturday, CNN reported.
Cruz was expected to win big in the U.S. territory. His first gubernatorial endorsement came from Guam Republican Eddie Calvo, The Houston Chronicle reported.
Calvo did vouch for Cruz on Saturday, but the remaining five other delegates remain "uncommitted" and will meet with the presidential candidates in the coming weeks to help them decide who to support.
In Guam, the delegates are elected at a party convention and are then able to support whichever candidate.
