Starting get a little worried about this recruitment, haven't seen anything on him from ND side of things and didn't visit a single time this season. Maybe he really is an Iowa lock. Doesn't help us at all that Iowa is ok shine for the Rose Bowl.

Same here, I opened this thread last week and was to depressed to bump it.

What is peculiar is IF he is a legacy lock to Iowa then ND is the perfect school to be associated with during the process. You aren't putting Pop's ties to Iowa up against other B1G programs and you get to play the education angle. Add Mizzou, Bama & SC or FSU / UF and you have a good 5 to take visits to while being in Iowa's bag the entire time.

There are Iowa people who have mentioned he might be a silent or a major lean to Iowa

If true that's some deep space kinda silent. He seems like a can't miss prospect for some or multiple positions on the DL. His track and field exploits tell me he's a special physical specimen. Fingers will remained double crossed.

I would put it at more like 1% chance he decommitts from the school his father played at and his childhood favorite. He wears a Hawkeyes hoodie to school once a week.

I guess we'll see. Long time before he puts pen to paper.

Idk, you must think he's pretty stupid to pick Iowa in the first place. Think he's smart enough to pick the best damned combination of academics and football in the WORLD? If he doesn't go to ND he will never be a millionaire!!!

Kids love to be legacies.

...and then there's the Eason and Brooks/Barr clans.

Good for him and Iowa. Not knocking his choice. Seems pretty obvious that's where he wanted to go all along. I'm sure Iowa is going to have to fight to keep him though.

Writing was on the wall when he didn't step foot on campus this fall.
