1) I know Robertson is on record as saying competition will NOT be a factor for him, but what about McKinley? Any reason to think he might look elsewhere if DR to ND gets real real?

Interesting. Interview from last Sunday or Saturday. Sounds like he favors Stanford slightly over ND, but, according to the talking heads, he may have academic issues getting admitted there. One of the talking heads, though, thinks it comes down to GA and Bama.

Just can't imagine wanting the Stanford education so bad, being rejected, then bypassing the ND education for an SEC football factory. Basically, ND not being #2 choice makes little sense here.

It does suck for him. Stanford is quite an opportunity. He should remember that most mega-nerds don't get into Stanford. It isn't anything to be ashamed about.

And hopefully he realizes ND is a pretty big deal too! In SEC football terms, its like finding out that you aren't getting an offer to Alabama, but you are still getting an offer to Georgia.

There was an interview posted yesterday where Demetris talked about Stanford, ND, Bama, and Georgia his top 4 schools. He basically came out and said Stanford and ND are his top 2, but at the end was asked if he could only pick two hats to be on a table which two would it be he didn't want to say. I'm not sure if his visit to Stanford ever happens as there is information out there that he won't get in to Stanford. If that is the case I believe he picks ND. The combination of Academics, Exposure, and playing time right away is going to be to good to pass up. I think it will be close to the finish and I honestly think Georgia is the dark horse here. If you watch his high school film he can play all over the field. Line up outside, in the slot, at Running back. Kick and punt return this kid would make us that much better next year. Can you imagine a future WR line up of St. Brown, Robertson, Mckinley and Sanders

Yea I'm so torn here. If he truly didn't get into Stanford, that obviously helps the other four schools involved. He's saying a lot of the right things but I just have a hard time seeing him leave the Southeast.
