Are they that desperate for nickel corners?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Farley was forced to start due to the Shumate suspension and our would be starter is out for the year.

Torii is also just a stud and if you can get him on the field, get him on the field.

Just really surprised this info didn't get out regarding him cross training for 3weeks now

GB knew 3 weeks ago.

Everyone is beating a dead horse with this. I realized what I said I apologized it just gets old that this statement is in every single thread on this board.

But you are right I am surprised this info never leaked, I would love to be a fly on the wall in the Gug sometimes

Kelly addressed this again yesterday. Said he would never do this with a core, key player (cross-train him on the other side of the ball, I mean) but Torii Hunter is a guy who splits time, so Kelly thought it would be a good way to get some more reps out of him.

Kelly is always looking for ways to get our best athletes on the field. I like that.

I can think of ways he could get Nyles Morgan more minutes...

I have a big feeling that Torii Hunter is going to be a major player on our offense next year, especially if Fuller leaves. Made one hand catches look easy

If Crawford is healthy next year to play the nickel does that take Hunter off defense? He's a beast WR but damn if he wouldn't be our 3rd best corner as well...

Kid is an athlete. He's got as good a set of hands as any receiver in the country.

I thought he was underutilized all season. Definitely should be more involved next year. Could run the wildcat, and has proven he can throw it.

Who would have taken touches away from this year to get TH the ball more?

Screw Fuller, he unbalanced our offense like crazy.

Its going to be nice having our best wr actually get targeted.

Will was a home run hitter, that the coaches targeted like Calvin Johnson..

Ha. He starts out saying how bad Will was for the offense. Then on to basically saying he wasn't I urge best WR. And caps it off with a comparison to Calvin Johnson. I'm not football genius. But seriously?

Dude, you NAILED it! Best post on here in awhile! Screw one of the biggest, most clutch playmakers in college football... a guy that on a per target basis was MUCH more productive and explosive than any other All-American caliber WR in the country... and despite a relatively low usage rate also opened up the entire offense by demanding safety help over the top which gave us a favorable box to run against on most downs. He TOTALLY unbalanced the offense with his 25% target rate, which was 44th in the country. I'd really hate to be the other teams like Bama, Ohio State, Baylor, Oklahoma, etc. that had a primary receiver with a higher usage rate.

You're very smart and should post more.
