Some high academic kids are turned off by how long it takes Stanford to clear them. He probably wants to get his future planned out and Stanford isn't allowing him to do that at the present. I'd be frustrated as well.

thanks dude

I agree, as much of a blessing as some of us may view having college paid for, there is definitely some stress that goes along with it.

Even after the Blake Barnett saga, dude still shamelessly recruits for Oregon.

What was the Barnett saga?

Hopkins spent a large portion of his time trying to convince Barnett to open his recruitment up after committing to ND and to look at Oregon. After he started to make headway, he began posting countless articles about how Oregon posed a real threat to sweep up Barnett.

Low and behold, Blake decommitted from ND, took a look at Oregon...and then promptly committed to Alabama.

This coming weekend could be a very productive one for the Huskies. Washington is hosting Stanford commit, DB David Long of Loyola, CA. Long's recruitment has almost gone full circle. He's been committed to the Tree, if only on paper, and has visited Michigan and Notre Dame. Long has told us over and over again that he just can't get Washington off his mind, and that his best coaching relationship is with Husky DB coach, Jimmy Lake. When asked if he was going to take anymore visits after the Washington visit, Long has been vague and said he just doesn't know. Could it be because he's going to commit to Washington this weekend? We believe that if Long hadn't been offered by Stanford when he was, he would have been committed to Washington by now. He's been to Seattle twice, his family approves, and he loves Lake. Sounds like a commitment in the making...oh and there's no visit lined up for Stanford. Huskies chance:99.9%

Durkin leaving for a HC job was a blow to Michigan's chances.

Rumors are that Stanford DC Anderson has been offered the Michigan job. Long reportedly is very into that, could boost Michigan's chances back up if that happens.
