Don't forget about Quenten Nelson. Although I'm not sure how guys like Nelson and Kizer are considered since ND doesn't use the redshirt label and list them as sophmores technically. Guessing they still count since they are universally recognized as so.

College Football's All-Freshman Team for 2015 | AthlonSports.com

This site has Nelson and Yoon only. Though take it with a grain of salt cause the running back nominations are a joke. Aeris Williams with 167 yards over both Adams and PSU's Saquon Barkley who broke 1000 yards???

Yea this sucks was hoping he could get some quality reps and be used more in the offense. Hopefully we get him back healthy by fall camp

This is going to sounds shitty but I'm so relieved it was injury news. I got an email and then saw his thread at the top of the list and I anticipated the worst. Life of an ND fan.

Well wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery.

I'd agree, but not a hip injury. Sucks.

Yea my daughter just tore her hip Labrum...not incredibly awful, but it took surgery, and she is done for 6 weeks at least. If it is something like that, he will be back for fall ball...but he'll miss a ton of strength and conditioning work...sucks.

Our source maintains that this injury will require surgery and we're told the plan is to get that taken care of within the next week. Per our source, the doctors are extremely optimistic that surgery will go smooth and Sanders will be back and ready to go prior to the start of the 2016 football season.

Our source maintains that the doctors believe he will "come back 100-percent and regain all of his explosion and range of motion." From people we’ve spoken to, there are no concerns regarding his future, as they believe he will be just as strong this upcoming season as he was in year one.

Not worried at this point...

BK uses the slot when he has a playmaker there. CJ/ Carlisel were pretty good in 2014 and Riddick was pretty good there in 2011. However, I will say CJ is just a different player. He's going to be fun to watch

CJ Sanders is just a very good football player. So good at running in traffic. Hangs on to the ball. And that speed.

I think CJ is my favorite player now.

Was just thinking the same thing. He's the most slippery player I remember us having since I became a fan (~2002). We've had other electric guys like Tate, but there's something unique about his elusiveness. Perfect for special teams. He's gonna have a hell of a highlight reel by the time he leaves ND.
