Are some of you high? CJ was the most electric running back we have had on our roster in yrs...does not matter what he was recruited for or what it took for him to end up where he did...he has patience, vision, burst, gamebreaking speed, power, wiggle and everything else we woud be looking for in a RB if we were building one. No way you take the ball out of his hands...imagine what a year of developmemt at the position will do for him. I agree you move him around some to create mismatches, but overall i'd literally be shocked if he isnt our #1 tailback going into the season...the difference is he will see 15 carries out of the backfield and a half dozen or so touches out of the slot rather than 25 a game from the backfield. That still leaves another 20-30 touches to be split between adams and folston with a few sprinkled in for the QB...there is plenty to go around, but you dont take a gamebreaker out of the position just on principal to put folston back there to dance his way to 4-5 yards a carry with no breakaway speed. Our offense is predicated on creating huge chunk plays, something we did with great regularity this season. Next season we keep that train rolling on and just build off of it and focus on developing an identity that can punch the ball in from inside the 20.
