If Coney did play that position, would Nyles move? Asmar? Barajas? Onwualu? Excited to see the competition. Hopefully Tranquil heals fully and is ready for a healthy year.

They were just spitballing for a few minutes and it started with Greer Martini but the little tidbit I found really intriguing was Mike saying that "there are some people who think Te'von is better suited for Mike".

And if that happens, they think Greer could be better on the other side. Then mentioned maybe he goes to Mike. Was just some quick back and forth but was certainly interesting.

If the backers bail to cover deep then he hands off leaving our back having to beat an over pursuing DL. If the D blitzes, our back blocks and Kizer picks the best single coverage who is likely getting his ass burnt!

We keep rotating our receivers as we gas the corners before the end of the first half! Perfect plan.

I'll have to see who leaves early from Clemson, Bama, OSU and Oklahoma but I can't see them any lower than #3.

We have no idea who is leaving early, who gets injured preseason, etc. Just being in the top five at this point says a lot of what some outsiders perception is of the Irish. I don't think there was any disrespect there at all.

Agreed, also, who gives a sh*t? The only thing that matters is the journey and where you end. We aren't some non-power 5 team that has to worry if we are ranked high enough to begin with. If we're inside the top 20 to start, we'll be fine. I'm guessing there is no way we're outside the top 10 to start the season.

I just hope we continue to get better and make the playoffs next year.

I put the disrespect portion of my comment in italics. I don't care about any poll.

In regards to who's leaving... there are players that will mater that could go either way. Some are going to go, some are going to stay. ND's in my Top 5 until the bowl game results and the early entry's are known and I'll adjust upwards in response to what the others lose.
